As nice as callaway gardens is, after eating at this restaurant, I would warn whomever I know to steer clear of this restaurant. Not only did we receive poor service, but the food was pitiful and just plain sickening, literally. My husband threw up shortly after leaving. When we got our meal, we noticed it was cold, but we were... More

My husband ordered a chicken salad sandwich which came with a hamburger bun and chicken salad that barely covered the bun. I had the pecan crusted chicken and the chicken was very thin and tough. The pecan tart tasted like a Little Debbie Cake that had been put in the microwave. Save your money and eat somewhere else. Try the... More

We went here the first night just to grab a bite in a convenient location. My husband and I ordered the burger, which was pretty good. While the food was good, the service was bad. The waitress we had was nice, but unprepared because she didn't have a pad for taking down orders, she kept coming back and asking what... More

My husband and I had dinner here after walking through Callaway Gardens all day. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere at the end of a busy day. Our waitress was great. Their pizza is very good and plenty for two and reasonably priced.

Let me be honest, we were at this place when they were slammed. It looked like one or two waitresses were serving the entire room which was completely full. They anticipated a large group, so there was a pasta buffet prepared- the folks in our group were not too impressed with the pasta. I ordered the buffalo chiken pizza and... More

While the decor may be dated and the service slow the food stood out. I had a steak one night and a hamburger the next. While my wife enjoyed her food I don't remember what she had. The steak I had was cooked just as I ordered, a perfect medium. The hamburger I had was awesome and my wife agreed.... More

Everything about our experience was awful except for our sweet waitress, Torrie. The service was ridiculously slow, the food was jut bad, and it was over-priced. The resort needs to shut this one down.

Attractive restaurant, comfortable seating and friendly waitress. We had 3 large salads. One salad was excellent with a generous amount of lean bacon and blue cheese. One had salmon that was mediocre. The third was topped with mushy, processed chicken masquerading as chicken breast. It looked and tasted substandard. I wondered why there were dark streaks in my chicken. With... More

Very good service and food. Portions were large and the waitress was proficient. The catch of the day was Mahi Mahi and it was excellent.

The little engine that could, or at least tried. We live in the area and have eaten here many times in different circumstances. On Sunday night in Harris County, it may be your only choice. The food is plain but nice with a good selection. The bar and wine list are adequate (see Sunday night comment above.). The real problem... More
