My diet was completely overcome by the amazing afternoon cinnamon bun and coffee I experienced at Bon Vivant on a chilly January afternoon. So good I had to take one home.

This former drugstore serves up delicious food in the evening. We were delighted to find it and loved the fish stuffed with crab and shrimp and grits. The crab pleased even this former Marylander! We will definitely return any time we are in the area.

What a great find, so good that my wife and I went twice. A neat mix of foods from lasagna to burgers, meatloaf, salads and a great desert. A nice collection of old style counters and booths, exposed brick, old signs and equally old book cases and other items make the restaurant a quaint little place to come for dinner... More

At first our karma was out of whack. Seated quickly we were briefly forgotten which generated many apologies. Then the bride requested lemon with the water which was also was forgotten. The staff seemed young and enthusiastic but a little unprofessional. Then our food started. My lasagna was huge and tasty with a beautiful salad. The toasted chicken salad sandwich... More

Liked - Everything. Disliked - Nothing. Had the Hummus Sampler & a Black & Blue Burger. Please make sure you try the broccoli & cauliflower salad....I'll leave the menu prices to your surprise....$7 to $12 & worth every penny.

Delicious food and top-notch service. I had the crab cakes and my mother had the black and bleu burger. We enjoyed the delicious food and the waitress was very personable. Local ingredients are used and it truly was delish!

The staff was very attentive and the ambiance is perfect. We have been to other restaurants in Pine Mountain, however, Bon Vivant is head and shoulders above the rest. Reservations accepted but not required - this is unlike Carriage and Horses where we were turned away even though restaurant was nearly empty!!
