We stopped in today for lunch and it was delicious! Everything was fresh, the baked breads were excellent and the chocolate mousse cake divine!!

Gourmet dining and reasonably priced. Salads and sandwiches at lunch are definite winners. Friendly staff and an excellent bakery. Intimate dining due to the small dining areas.

We have been eating at the Rose Cottage for many years but the last few times have been disappointing. Most of the servers who in the past were so friendly and knowledgable have been replaced. The menu has been changed and so many of our favorites are no longer served. It seems to be more of a bakery than a... More

I didn't even know this place existed. My students and I come to the area many times a year for the horse shows at Poplar Place and we're always looking for a decent place to eat. We found it! We enjoyed homemade breads with olive oil and vegetarian spring rolls as an appetizer. For dinner, collectively, we had the grouper... More

Lunch was great and the sandwiches are on freshly baled breads and are unique and delicious. The atmosphere is quaint and the service was very good. The brie and pear sandwich was exceptional as was the tomato basil bisque. It is worth your calories to eat hear.

Definitely dine here when you are in town. I had the Tomato Bisque soup and the quiche of the day - excellent. They brought out some homemade bread to try - delicious. And because this place is a bakery, you can buy some to take home. Wonderful service and friendly waitress. Wish I had this restaurant/bakery in my home town.

I have recently retired and moved to Pine Mountain where I discovered this local favorite in the heart of "downtown". The atmosphere is European country style; the food is "farm to table" fresh and local/regionally sourced, but the dishes offered are anything but quaint! The menu varies daily, and there are always freshly baked breads, and an extensive wine and... More

I try to eat with my friends at least once a month on Sunday..always at The Bakery & Cafe at Rose Cottage.. The menu is varied and everything I've always ordered is so delicious!! We love the service and John and Maria are so accommodating when we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. I ordered sticky buns and a variety of breads... More

The menu for Sunday brunch had so many good things it was a hard choice. Being an explorer,I tried the vietnamese dish (delicious and such a great presentation). Since the food was freshly prepared I used the waiting time to explore the shop. Everything, including the tables and chairs is for sale - that's a twist. The price was quite... More
