Not sure I'd go here again

We ate breakfast here on a Sunday as we were leaving. It didn't seem like there were a whole lot of choices of places that served breakfast. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. We both got the egg basket. Seems like it was about $5. You got an egg, choice of toast/biscuit, grits and... read more

Friends told me it had gotten better. They were wrong. service was okay, food was just bad bad bad. Not cooked well, not seasoned well. Not sure how they are still open. Even in this two horse town, I'd skip on this place in favor of gas station food.

A fairly standard pub-grub place but everything we ate was good. I wouldn't run to go back but would happily eat there again if in area. Very pleasant staff.

My husband and I recently stopped here for lunch because the place where we wanted to eat has closed! We have eaten here several times before, so we already knew of the dated décor, etc. that others have mentioned. We just wanted lunch, and we don't need fancy food or location. Things were fine. Yes, they could brighten up and... More

We came from the lap of luxury here in Pine Mountain, the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, to find a place to eat with 3 children on New Year's Eve. We read the reviews and saw that this was a good last resort if no where else was open. We had a wonderful dinner with a nice glass of... More

We visited this restaurant during mid afternoon and were the only customers. There was only one person working and she took our orders, cooked the food and was the cashier. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich on a kaiser roll. It looked great and he said it was very good. My sandwich looked just pitiful and tasted strange. The... More

Been to Pine Mountain several times but never ate at this restaurant. Thought we'd give it a try and can now check it off the list. It's basically diner food with zero ambience. My burger was cooked well done despite asking for medium. It's apparently how they always cook it according to our young waitress. Prices are reasonable, though. When... More

Having made our 6th trip to the Pine Mountain area. We were well aware of the choices for Sunday morning breakfast. Having toured the parking lot at Kountry Kitchen (a local favorite) we decided to try the 27th. Nothing special on the outside but hidden gems are always that way. We were warned that the pancakes were over sized. One... More

Good food. Cheap price. I had a huge meal for well under $20.00. I recommend you stop here and check out the place.

The waitress didn't even know if they had a red wine to serve. After many attempts she offered a Merlot that tasted bad. Flies were in the windows and the waitress told us she was doing the dishes in the back while she was ordering and delivering our food. That is just not sanitary. Do not plan on going there... More
