We visited this restaurant during mid afternoon and were the only customers. There was only one person working and she took our orders, cooked the food and was the cashier. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich on a kaiser roll. It looked great and he said it was very good. My sandwich looked just pitiful and tasted strange. The... More

Been to Pine Mountain several times but never ate at this restaurant. Thought we'd give it a try and can now check it off the list. It's basically diner food with zero ambience. My burger was cooked well done despite asking for medium. It's apparently how they always cook it according to our young waitress. Prices are reasonable, though. When... More

Having made our 6th trip to the Pine Mountain area. We were well aware of the choices for Sunday morning breakfast. Having toured the parking lot at Kountry Kitchen (a local favorite) we decided to try the 27th. Nothing special on the outside but hidden gems are always that way. We were warned that the pancakes were over sized. One... More

Good food. Cheap price. I had a huge meal for well under $20.00. I recommend you stop here and check out the place.

The waitress didn't even know if they had a red wine to serve. After many attempts she offered a Merlot that tasted bad. Flies were in the windows and the waitress told us she was doing the dishes in the back while she was ordering and delivering our food. That is just not sanitary. Do not plan on going there... More

This place looks a little strange from the outside since it was formerly a gas station. Inside, we received good service and the food was pretty good, too. They even serve beer and wine, if you are interested in that. The Greek pizza was a favorite of our group. There wasn't anything too gourmet or special on the menu, but... More

I went there to eat at the Whistling Pig but they were so full I decided to try the 27th grill since I was already there in the parking lot! There were only an older couple in the place! Very old and tired looking décor! I ordered a hamburger steak and side salad. The salad was heaped in a bowl,... More

This is an old gas station turned diner complete with vinyl tablecloths. Don't get me, it what I expected before we walked in. They have a very broad menu from full meals, to pizza, salads, sammys, wine, beer and desert. We had a quesadilla and a Philly chicken sub. Not bad but the frozen, under cooked fries were a complete... More

We picked this place off of the Internet where we saw it on the Pine Mountain GA city website. I pulled up and thought "whoa" because it didn't look quite like I expected (it's an old gas station.) We went in and I questioned my choice however I was already committed. We both ordered the ribeye. We ordered fries and... More

I have always loved the way the owner took pride in his dishes that he served. We had the some of our old favorites and they were very good. The only thing that concerned me was the prices had gone up so much. The appetizers were a little to expensive. The waiter was attentive and friendly. We received our dinner... More
