Was Hoping for Better

The variety of items on the menu (which I viewed online prior to) convinced me that we should try this place however when driving up to the location, I immediately started second guessing my choice. It is less than appealing to say the least and the inside doesn't say much for itself either. The... read more

This place has a huge menu but the entrees are a bit pricey. They have a bar which is cool because all of the sites in the immediate area close early and there isn't much to do past 7pm.

My family and I stop there on Friday night June 19th. Didn't think anyone would be open at 9pm at night. The service was great and the food was awesome. We stop by every time we come to pine mountain since 1999. Never seems to amaze us it is always the same with great service and food.

We recently purchased a vacation chalet in Pine Mountain and have been spending a lot of time there each weekend. We decided to check-out the 27th Grill and are glad we did. DJ, the regular waiter, was great and attentive. The menu is quite extensive, and contains a little bit of everything. And the prices are quite reasonable. We have... More

We were impressed with this restaurant which was located in a building that used to be a gas station. The menu consisted of four pages with a wide variety of choices. It's obvious the owner takes pride in his restaurant and tries to provide options for everyone. I'm a vegetarian and was surprised to find many vegetarian choices on the... More

Friends told me it had gotten better. They were wrong. service was okay, food was just bad bad bad. Not cooked well, not seasoned well. Not sure how they are still open. Even in this two horse town, I'd skip on this place in favor of gas station food.

We ate breakfast here on a Sunday as we were leaving. It didn't seem like there were a whole lot of choices of places that served breakfast. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. We both got the egg basket. Seems like it was about $5. You got an egg, choice of toast/biscuit, grits and choice of meat. We... More

A fairly standard pub-grub place but everything we ate was good. I wouldn't run to go back but would happily eat there again if in area. Very pleasant staff.

My husband and I recently stopped here for lunch because the place where we wanted to eat has closed! We have eaten here several times before, so we already knew of the dated décor, etc. that others have mentioned. We just wanted lunch, and we don't need fancy food or location. Things were fine. Yes, they could brighten up and... More
