I go to this restaurant at least once a month. Great, breakfast, lunch and dinner... The place is not that big so plan ahead, has a beautiful view of Pine Mountain from the dinning room. Staff is friendly and you can count with a fast service.. Great biscuits!!!

The best part of this restaurant was the view and the country store. The meat in the chicken fried steak was missing. The fried pickles were oozing grease. On the second visit we ate lunch, and the wedge salad ($7.00 for a 1/4 of iceberg lettuce, =$28 per head) was okay, and the catfish fingers were actually 3 filets, and... More

We ate here once for dinner and once for lunch during our 4 day stay. The food was good and the service was great. The fried pickles were a little too greasy. We did find it odd that you can get an appetizer with 3 very nice pieces of catfish for only $4.00 but a wedge salad (simply a wedge... More

We had dinner here, all the vegetables were from a can, nothing homemade. They did put some bacon slices in the green beans to add flavor. The country fried steak was a frozen patty like you would get at Perkins, Cracker Barrel does a much better job. Everything is covered in thick gravy so be prepared. The highlight was the... More

We ordered take out from here. I had a wedge salad which was good but the banana pudding was not. My other family members enjoyed the entrees also but not the desserts. We also visited the country store in the same building. Lots of country jellies, relishes, etc. and souvenirs which were reasonably priced.

The Country Kitchen isn't easy to find = it's inside the Country Store and it's passed Callaway Gardens proper on Route 1. The view outside the back window of The Country Kitchen is stunning. I only wish the windows were screened and could open for the fresh air. The meal starts with complimentary fluffy buttermilk biscuits and cornbread muffins. We... More

We ate breakfast here while we were staying at Callaway Gardens. We just had a 'basic' breakfast of eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, etc. but everything was cooked the way it should be and in generous portions. The sausage, which tasted like homemade, was a little spicy for me but was very good. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient. The best... More

We ate breakfast here our last morning while staying at Callaway Gardens Mountain Inn. Nice view from the back dining room. Good basic breakfast....nothing fancy or outstanding. Cheaper than eating at the dining room at the Inn.
