This place has got everything you want in a Bbq joint and food that will rock your world! While in town for a conference after a late night of fun with friends my husband and I were craving something tasty. Boy were we in for a treat. The ribs were so tender the meat couldn't stay on the bone. The... More

There was such a line that I thought twice about going here for lunch. But popularity is generally a good sign for a restaurant so I waited it out. They do an enormous amount of business during the lunch hour. And the result? Not bad. No real complaints. Not completely sure why the overwhelming popularity.

On our second visit to Pine Mountain this year we came back for more. This time I tried a Scrambled Dog. Wow! Two chopped up chili dogs smothered with cheese and onions and slaw. Wonderful sin !

Unexpected local surprise. Food is very, very good. Home-cooked natural fries! Plenty of food for the buck! Wouldn't mind wandering off the interstate again for a revisit.

Had a chopped pork sandwich and the sweet hot beans. Pork had just the right amount of smoke and included bark and center meat. Sauce was slightly sweet with just enough vinegar. Beans were fantastic. Great roadside find!

This place has a waiting line as long as the charm. Where do I start it is lunch for all that come. Everything and everyone is a delight.you just have to say you've eaten at the whistling pig .my husbands favorite thing are the hotdogs topped with slaw. Give it a chance you'll be glad you stopped in.

We stopped here for lunch during an antiquing trip to Pine Mountain. We had the pork jr. bbq sandwich it was huge glad we didn't get the jumbo. BBQ was very good, sandwich roll nice and fresh. Hand cut fires, and the fried green tomatoes were excellent!! They also serve a meat and veggie special.. we will return!

Went here for lunch while at Callaway. This is THE place for locals, get there early or there will be a line, however, it does go fast. BBQ is not bad, I would call it chopped style, not really pulled. Appears that ribs are only served on Friday and Saturday. Our sides were, cole slaw, fries, potato salad, mac n... More

Recent health score 98. Please note: the correct address for this restaurant is 572 S Main St, Not N Main. It's about 1 mile south of where your GPS will take you to. The exterior and interior both appear a little long in the tooth but don't let that deter you from some pretty decent BBQ. It's pretty simple here... More

We visited after being Callaway Gardens. Went in because of all the cars outside. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We had smoked chicken and pulled pork with sides. All really fresh. Sure you eat on paper plates but the food tasted the same!
