Recommended by friends, great restaurant. They have different hours than most places, so be sure to check before you go. Buffet style food, but they do have made to order platters, too. Pies are incredible and you can't beat the value.

This restaurant is a favorite of my children and elderly parents. It's a cafeteria style restaurant, with a selection of a few meats and vegetables as well as a plethora of desserts. My mother loves the turnips greens and my children, no surprise, love the pies.

This place has a serving line you go through and tell them what you want. You take your tray to the table and sit down to eat. There were several meats to choose from and lots of home cooked vegetables. The desserts are wonderful! The total price for a full meal and drink, was under $10. It is a very... More

Obviously THE place for lunch. A bit off the interstate but on the main road just up from the At. Center. Cafeteria style with knowledgeable, quick staff on the serving line. Southern, but not overcooked, food choices. Not overly seasoned. Our party tried about everything with no complaints. Prompt refills on drinks & with a smile. Entire place was sparkly... More

This place reminds me of the 1950s when we stopped with my parents. Limited choices but excellent southern style home cooking. I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. All were excellent. Split piece of chocolate pie with wife. That was a bad choice - never split pie when you eat here!! Almost caused a divorce. Ok, one... More

The Oil Lamp is a mix of cafeteria style and cooked to order. For example, certain steak or seafood entrees are cooked to order, while items such as meatloaf, roasted chicken are served going through the cafeteria line. The menu changes pretty much daily, with a mix of meats and vegetables, casseroles, desserts. It is "home cooking", the staff is... More

Very good country cooking in Perry, Ga. Close to interstate 75 and usually not real crowded. Food is hot, tasty, quick and courteous service. Price is reasonable, better deal than CB down the road. Only tow little complaints: 1) Meat choices don't seem to ever vary 2) Pork Tenderloin while very tasty and well spiced is a little dry. Great... More
