A good option.

The Oil Lamp is a mix of cafeteria style and cooked to order. For example, certain steak or seafood entrees are cooked to order, while items such as meatloaf, roasted chicken are served going through the cafeteria line. Very good country cooking in Perry, Ga. Close to interstate 75 and usually not real crowded. Food is hot, tasty, quick and courteous service. Price is reasonable, better deal than CB down the road. Only tow little complaints: 1) Meat choices don't seem to ever vary 2) Pork Tenderloin while very tasty and well spiced is a little dry. Great... More

If you like home cooked food and plenty of it this is the place for you. I wanted to try the dessert, because they all look delicious but was too full.

I could eat here everyday for every meal! Yes, it's that good! It's all fresh, made-from-scratch tasting deliciousness!

Our family ate here on a Thur. night. The place was packed! Get in line and pick what you want (like a cafeteria) or you can choose one of their special dinner options (they will bring your dinner to the table if you order a special dinner). Each night they offer different selections. They also have fresh made pies. They... More

Ate here a couple of times. I like the meatloaf. Side items seems to be small for the amount they charge. Veggies taste like they were right out of a can.

After wanting to try the Oil Lamp for awhile now I was finally able to. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the herb chicken was both tender and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be back!

Great home cooking served cafeteria style in a small nondescript building. Wonderful desserts. Not a cheap lunch, but certainly worth going there when visiting the area. Excellent way for conservative females to help support a family and provide a valuable service. I will go back when in the area

The impression before I even got there was a great one! I called the restaurant 10 minutes before they closed. The person answering the phone told me, come on through!!! Most restaurants would have said, we're closing, I've had it happen before with 30 minutes to spare. I got there and walking thru the doors, everyone was welcome to the... More

I would agree the food is OK but not worth the prices. Basic cafeteria set up with serving line. Carry your own tray to a table with plastic table cloth. Expect to pay $11 per person for $5 meal.
