I believe the actual restaurant was closed for the evening, so we had to eat in the sports bar. Very nice staff, but didn't make up for the quality nor price of the food. They had a pool table, which was a nice touch. The cook came out several times and apologized for the items listed in the menu, but... More

I got drink coupons at check in and the staff was very nice. I didnt see nor did I ask for a menu, so not sure if they serve food, and if they do I don't know how it is.

We walked into the place for breakfast on Monday, and it was pretty much deserted. There were a couple people dining and the server was also the hotel desk clerk, so she was busy. Even so, she was very friendly. The hot already-prepared food was fairly simple--bacon,grits, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and sausage gravy. There were two waffle makers, some pastries... More

We stopped here enroute to Florida on a Saturday at lunch and had the buffet. There was almost nobody in the place. I LOVED THE CABBAGE! My husband liked his chicken but he commented on how good the peas were. The baked mac and cheese was good too. There was a nice-looking bar, but it wasn't being used. We wondered... More

Every time we've eaten here, it's been good, cooked well and friendly service. Breakfast buffet is typical southern fare. Evening- I order from the menu. (lot of fried things on buffet in evening)

The food was decent on the breakfast buffet. There were no employees greeting or waiting on tables which I found odd on a Saturday morning. I saw one employee who was refilling buffet. Restaurant was dark in my opinion and a bit outdated. We did enjoy the Derby memoribilia as we are from Kentucky - home of the Derby.

Very uncomfortable - if they didn't cut their staff so drastically they could operate like a regular restaurant

The food was terrible, the service was poor at best, had to wait for everything. then nothing was right, the drinks or the food. the food wasn't hot, the quantity was good for the price. Then they provided the free hot breakfast buffet for the adjoining hotel, that was not a buffet nor was it hot, go somewhere else.

We usually stay here twice a year, mainly for the breakfast and having a bar on site. But the bar was closed and the dinner wasn't the best. The next morning, we were informed that the buffet breakfast, which was a signature for this place is no more. The grits were instant, the eggs were cold, and they ran ohostessut... More

Started there for dinner. Was seated near the kitchen door. Finally had a waitress stop to take our beverage orders. After waiting 45 minutes JUST to ORDER, we left. We did offer to pay for our drinks but the hostess insisted they were on the house.
