Wonderful dim sum

A group of five of us went to Happy Valley for Sunday dim sum. We'd not been here in over a year, as we'd not been able to always arrange to get together. I arrived at 11:30 and was the last of the party to arrive. We were seated immediately and had at least half a dozen dishes on our... read more

I loved the service ... the atmosphere.... and the food . it is close to the hotels and near all the shopping areas me and my family loved the poo poo platter as an appetizer and the servings came in huge portions to share with the whole family and best of all the week before we paid $80 for nasty... My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch of Cashew Chicken and Sesame Chicken. The flavor of both sauces was amazing. The dishes were full of chicken and vegetables. The lunch portion was more than enough. I couldn't eat all of mine. We will definitely be eating at this restaurant the next time we are traveling this way. Super delicious!

Set in a strip mall off the very busy Jimmy Carter and I-85 corridor, the interior space is quite large when running on a busy weekend at lunch. It is much quieter weekdays, but still offers a good selection of dim sum. (Of course, the weekend selection is much greater!). For those that don't know what dim sum is, basically... More

We have gone to this restaurant for many years. The fresh lobster and fish is terrific and reasonably priced. They bring you the lobster and fish from the seafood tanks for inspection. They prepare a unique Lobster Hong Kong style that we love and so does anyone else that we bring to the restaurant. The Peking duck is delicious. We... More

The hotel where I stayed in the area recommended Happy Valley. Previous reviews also said it was quite good too. Both hotel and reviews were accurate. Since I was on business in the Norcross area and tired I did not want to travel any distance for dinner. Upon entering I was concerned as only one other party in the restaurant.... More

A group of 8 of us got together for dim sum on March 9, at Happy Valley at 11:45 AM. As always, the food was coming out good and fast. The problem is that within 10-15 minutes, we had ordered enough to stuff all 8 of us, and that was without some of the signature dishes they have for Sunday... More

I thought I would try a different dim sum place for the first time in 10 years. After hearing about Happy Valley my boyfriend and I decided to try it. The dim sum was ok nothing really stood out to us. The selection wasn't anything different that the typical dim sum selections. The kicker, SERVICE IS TERRIBLE HERE. We were... More

For several years now, Families with Children from China (Atlanta) has held its annual Chinese New Year celebration at Happy Valley. As those who lived in China for 12 years, Happy Valley reminds our family of the kind of Chinese dinners we would often have there. The food is very good and, coupled with the decor, the fish tanks, and... More

Located in a shopping ctr right off I-85 x99 w/HK supermarket & many other retails. We came in for dinner, notice every table was having hotpot, guess that's popular here. We ordered dishes off the menu: seafood fishmaw soup, scallop w/asparagus, shrimp/chicken cashew, fish w/bitter melon & salt pepper pork chop. Every dish was very good. We will be back... More
