We went in and stood there for a minute before anyone came to ask to seat us. A man finally approached us (tall, dark hair, tattoo on left arm with a beer gut) we told them it was 3 in our party told us the wait would be 15 min. We debated staying because we had an engagement we were... More

My wife and I went to Zapata's last night for early dinner .. opens at 5. We both had tacos .. some with shrimp, some with fish along with some guacamole on the side. Excellent flavor with all items. We will definitely visit again when we are in Norcross again.

Zapata's food is excellent. But not only the actual food, the presentation of the food (the look of it on your plate) is superb! And it's located in the quaint historic town of Norcross.

My wife and I came to Zapata's for my birthday. I had eaten at Zapata's before and wanted my wife to try it as well. We were not disappointed. We had specially made margaritas. Everything was made from scratch. You could watch the bartender make the margaritas with fresh ingredients and tequila. The chips and salsa were incredibly fresh and... More

We went to Zapata for the fist time last night for dinner. The service was GREAT and the food was so flavorful and appetizing. We sat right at the front door; which would normally bother me, but it did not even come to mind after we sat down. Our server was so nice and professional. I can not wait to... More

There were two servers and bartender working. There were about 20 people in there when we went at 11:30. We were seated with no menus. We ordered margaritas that took approximately 20 minutes. The bartender then brought over our margaritas and asked if we needed water. We waited for another 10 minutes and I finally got up and asked him... More

I liked the Salsa Verde Enchilada, the pot of Mole not so much (don't remember the name, but they advertise it as their specialty).

Tuesday nights are the BEST here! We go for the 2$ tacos (you get to choose from several options, and if you order 3 tacos, you get beans as well) There is also 2$Tecate beers & tequila shots. Jaime is a GREAT waiter, and we make sure he's our waiter when we visit!

We have been going to Zapata for years and almost always order the Molcajetes, a Mayan specialty dish cooked in a volcanic rock bowl, which they bring to your table. You can get chicken, shrimp, beef or sausage or a combination of all of them. It is very unique and delicious. It feeds two people, so do not be afraid... More

I've been here many times. Before coming here I hated Mexican, but this isn't your typical Mexican food. This is authentic, real, made from scratch food. You should try Crepas Pablanas, the tacos, Puntas A La Mexicana, Alambre, Quintana Roo Fajitas, and the red Chilaquilas. All those are my favorite. The chips and salsa are great too. Now I'm done...
