Not cheap but Oh So Good

Every time I am in Atlanta I try to eat at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. I like raw oysters and they have them on the menu. I have had crab legs, fish and shrimp and have never been disappointed. I did notice they had some less expensive specials, so there seemed to be something for every budget.

I disliked the 2 hour wait to be seated but did expect this being that it was Valentine's Day. I enjoyed my Swamp Things!! The food was excellent as always. Will go again when it's less crowded.

As with all the Pappadeaux restaurants, they try too hard to make the meals overly complicated with too many unhealthy sauces, toppings, and stuffing. Portions are large, which almost always indicates that the quality is low. I really don't see the point of going here, other than there are very few restaurant options outside the Atlanta Perimeter, so if you're... More

It's always been great for us even if we have to wait. It can be a little pricey but you get large portions. I grew up in Louisiana and this is as close as I can find to authentic in Georgia.

Pappadeaux is one outstanding restaurant, period. Never had a bad nor average meal here. I try to eat at Pappadeaux's every time I am near the area.

My husband & I had lunch there today (Feb 1, 2015) & the food was delicious as usual. This was my 2nd visit, his first. The fried alligator is a must try! This is coming from someone who tries to stay away from wild game (deer, rabbit, squirrel etc), so trust me lol. We arrived at 11:30 and were quickly... More

D and I have several friends and family who told us how good that Pappadeaux is, but we had never tried it. On our way home from the ATL last Monday (MLK), we decided to stop in for lunch. As I started looking for Pappa's, I discovered that it was part of a chain. Hmmmm. That was a disappointment to... More

My friend and I ate here this week. Pappa never disappoints. We had a great margarita. I had the sweet potato pecan pie. She had oysters on the half shell. Thanks for keeping your oyster prices somewhat reasonable. We mostly go there for the atmosphere, but the food is good too. Lots of calories...LOL! All in all you will not... More

Our 1st time here. Love the atmosphere. Reminded me of New Orleans. Great staff. No complaints. Awesome place.
