Description: The inspiration for La Nonna was my mother. La Nonna, in Italian, means grandma. Everyone, friends and family alike, called her Nonna or grandma. She was at her best on holidays when all our friends and family would gather at our home. She would get up at 5 in the morning to start making tomato sauce, baking bread and making her famous homemade pasta as her mother had done before her. She was born in 1921, in Durazzano, a small town just north east of Naples. She mastered the old world recipes that her mother passed on to her, everything from picking the best tomatoes for the marinara sauce to making wonderful Italian pastries. My in inspiration for creating La Nonna's Italian Restaurant is to share her wonderful food with everyone.

LaNonna offers a very nice setting for a reasonable price. Coupons are often available. Service is as good as the food.

Whether you call your grandmother Nana, Granny, Mimi or Nonna, I think its safe to say that remembering ones grandmother brings certain memories of food. Mario and his family bring the taste of their Nonna to your table each night. I had the pleasure of eating at La Nonna's (meaning grandmother) last night . This fine restaurant is tucked away... My wife and I just happened to stop in. We frankly were expecting just another okay / mediocre dinner out, because in my opinion that's what most restaurants are! I am pleased to say we were wrong! The food was excellent as were the deserts, which they make all in house. Even the salad dressing was unique and clearly home... More

I have had dinner several times, and recently went for the lunch buffet. Buffet is plentiful and a good value at $10.00, but the food is not quite as tasty when it sits in a warming tray, as opposed to being individually prepared at dinner. Dinner is terrific and I highly recommend the eggplant rollatini, which is always done perfectly

We visited La Nonna's for the second time on our recent visit to Atlanta. The food and service were both wonderful. The owner came to our table and helped our granddaughters to post their drawings on the wall of the restaurant. The restaurant has great food for adults, and is also kid friendly.

It is always a pleasure to go in - it is decorated beautifully - it is quiet (which we love at our ages) and the owner always finds time to come over & make sure everything is going well. They have a wonderful staff of people working there & my glass is never half full. This is one of the... More

A true gem outside the perimeter. Their lunch buffet Tuesdays through Fridays is incredible. For $10.95, you have soup, salad, garlic rolls and 6 entries to choose from. Manga . . .eat as much as you like. Reminds me of when I was in Italy. Your host Mario and the waiters are friendly and makes sure you won't go away... More

Visited 01/25/14 My husband and I received a HalfOffDepot voucher as a gift. We were a bit hesitant to dine because of the negative reviews on service (mostly on Yelp.com.) Our service by Sam was rather professional, friendly, and prompt. The complimentary bread was a 9. The entrees were entirely way too big, but no complaints! We were able to... More

Found this little gem on your site. We were in Norcross for a dog show, this was nearby and we love Italian. True to other reviewers, the food was great(especially that lobster ravioil everyone raved about),prices reasonable and our service by Mario was wonderful! Don't be deterred by the strip shopping location, once inside the quaint interior and Sinatra music made us feel... More
