Better than Good

Service was excellent and waitress was friendly and knew the menu. The Salmon entrée was excellent and the mashed potato side was the best I have ever eaten. I think I got good value for the food and will go back again. Enjoyed the ambience of the old house.

Recently took our daughter and son-in-law out to dinner here. This was ona Saturday evening. Reservations at 6:30. As we came in, asked owner about specials. He was RUDE. One special- prime rib just ok. Other special, beef stroganoff, ran out by 7pm. WHAT? Waitresses just not that knowledgeable on menu. For a restaurant that wants to be high scale... More

Hubby and I had been very busy with children and grandchildren, and hadn't made Valentine's Day reservations. At last, on the day before V-day, we were free and desperately seeking a special meal sans kids, to celebrate. We love Ten East Washington but never imagined we could get a table so late in the game. We knew Chef George had... More

We attended a rehearsal dinner here. The bread was a bit hard and didn't appear to be freshly-made, although the herbed butter was good. The salad was very fresh, although we were confused by the dressing. It appeared to be a horseradish dressing, and it was already applied to everyone's plate. It was very strong, and many at our table... More

Can't watch the Steelers game in the bar 'cause the t.v. hasn't worked in 3 years - really? Oh, and the wine was mediocre. Jus sayin'.

I've eaten at this restaurant several times over the past 10+ years. The food is good but not as good as the owner thinks it is. Everything is "a' la carte" and a typical meal for two with two glasses of wine will cost around $110 before tip and tax. The owner isn't very friendly and gets upset if you... More

We've been going to Ten E. Washington for years. It's always very good, service is excellent, food is European style. There's a martini bar upstairs with live entertainment on weekends. Overall a nice night out, without the ride into Atlanta.

My wife and I ate there for a special "date night". It was a beautiful evening so we decided to dine outside on the porch. The service was very good. A panhandler asked us for money or a cigarette while we sat there, but it was still a nice evening. The peel and eat shrimp with Dijon dipping sauce was... More

I like this town! Ten East Washington is a nice restaurant with quality service and very good food! They have a good wine list and a variety of selections on menu to please everyone. The lobster cakes were delicious along with the special peel and eat shrimp that evening. Enjoyed their sauces!

Where do I begin. A house guest wanted to treat us to dinner. Not wanting to travel far, we opted for 10 East Washington based on reviews. Entrees were about $25 on average. Soups were as much as $7.00 plus. It is a small restaurant with perhaps 20 tables at the most downstairs and a bar upstairs. The noise level... More
