Outdated Digs but Good Fare

Great place for lunch. Sushi bar is where I usually dine. Sushi chef has been here for years. Nice staff and friendly. Typical sushi rolls and some specialty rolls as usual for a sushi bar. Portions are fair and standard.

We found this place with the help of our Garmin GPS unit. They have what I consider to be the holy trinity of dining: honest portions, great quality, and a reasonable price. The amount meat in my noodle bowl was VERY generous, as was the amount of fish in my sushi roll (about twice as much as most other places).... More

For many years this has been my favorite Japanese Hibachi restaurant, and, after all these years, it maintains its remarkably high level of excellent food. The fried rice is the best I have had anywhere and their orange sauce (Yum Yum Sauce) and their white sauce (Horseradish Sauce--this one has to be requested; it is not automatically brought) make their... I've been coming here for many years... The food here used to be excellent.. But the last 3 times I've been (over a 2 year time frame) it has not been nearly as good :( The sushi was dry, the fried rice had very little seasoning and the hibachi chicken was very dry and just touching the side of being... Hands down the best Japanese steakhouse in the south Metro Atlanta area. Great food (and plenty of it), great service (drink refills right on time), and a great staff all combine for a tremendously positive experience. I give this place my highest possible recommendation. If you want excellent Japanese steakhouse food along with an excellent overall dining experience then Lee's... More

The experience started off ok, until i found a piece of a brillo pad in my food. Instead of correcting the situation from the beginning, they wanted to try and justify how or why it was placed in my food. After asking of the manager, they still wanted me to pay for my rice. Clearly if there is something in my... More

Nothing too exciting here. And no starters included in the prices. It is convenient to Clayton State University and does offer a variety of Asian cooking...including a sushi bar. I probably would not return unless I had to be at CSU around meal time.

This was my first Hibachi Grill experience and I wasn't disappointed. The food itself was prepared right in front of us and our chef was really great. He had 13 years experience and interacted with everyone. The cocktail I got was okay, but not overly priced. Will likely go back again.

Lee's Golden Buddha is an OK restaurant. It is by far nothing special, but on the other hand it nothing bad. Came here with friends and had General Tso chicken and Bulgogi. They were eatable, but far from great. I will probably not return to eat here again.

I just came from the Lee's Golden Buddha after taking my friend with her family for her birthday and I was very disappointed. I ordered shrimp tempura and I did not like the taste of the food, in fact no one else would eat it. I asked to have it changed and I got something else that was edible. The... More
