We frequent Capt Joe's on a regular basis. The soup and salad bar is always a good choice. The shrimp is another good choice.

We stopped at Captain Joe's in Midway, GA on 9/13/14. I had a fish sandwich and iced tea. The sandwich was ok, but the tea...NOT so much!!! My husband had boneless buffalo wings which turned out to be chicken fingers. Since he wasn't sure about the sauce, he ordered it on the side which was a good thing because it... More

We took some customers to lunch and since it was early most of us just got the soup and salad bar. There were several items on the salad bar and two soups to pick from and a couple deserts. All was good, as was the service, and reasonably priced. I'd go back.

CPT Joes is a decent restaurant with great service. We have frequented this restaurant many times over the last two years mostly because it is the best restaurant in Midway. We have found it to be hit or miss...sometimes we go and get a great meal while other times it is just okay. The Soup and salad bar is our... More

I hate to write a review on Cap. Joes, BUT- its not been good lately... I have been eating at Cap Joes for about 25 years, and their fried shrimp have always been awesome. Perfect batter, crispy, and sweet south ga white shrimp with awesome salad bar and pitchers of sweet tea...... BUT, the last 6-7 time i have eaten... More

Great place for Baby Shrimp! Our waitress, Shellie, suggested the small dinner since it comes with their salad bar. We were very hungry so we ordered the large. The salad bar was amazing. Very fresh with tons of options. The lobster bisque was very good. I ordered fried Mac and Cheese with my dinner. The shrimp was lightly battered and... More

On our way to Florida from Columbia, SC., we stopped at Captain Joe's for some famous local popcorn shrimp. We were not disappointed! Along with the tasty shrimp was a plate full of hush-puppies and fries. Even the coleslaw was outstanding. Tina waited on us and remembere me from a previous visit there in April. If you are hankering for... More

We stopped primarily because I needed to use the restroom and this restaurant was the only stop on that road that seemed like the middle of no where. I decided to grab a bit to eat while we were there in an attempt to make up for time for the stop. I was super excited because we were coastal so... More

Ate at Captain Joe's while visiting family and was very disappointed. Having grown up on the Georgia coast I was hoping to get some fresh, local seafood but I am not sure that is what was delivered. I ordered the catch of the day, broiled grouper, which came out soaked in butter. My wife ordered the salmon which was so... More

My son asked for Ranch Dressing when he placed his order, which the waitress acknowledged. She brought the drinks, then the food and vanished. Saw her once going by the table, tried to flag her down and she walked by without any hesitation. Next thing we knew she left the resturant. Had to go to another server to get the... More
