Fair quality food a bit overpriced

I've eaten here a few times. I find the service to be pretty good but the food uninspired and a bit expensive for the price.

Very good food and staff! The manager Mrs. Gayle is the best! I highly recommend this place for great seafood and friendly service!

We always stop on our way to see family. This time I tried the Blackened Redfish-- yum, yum! I love the nice selection at the salad bar; it was fresh and the lettuce was crisp (I hate dry lettuce out of the bag!). This tasty menu choice is perfect for my new diet. Looking forward to my next trip so... More

A little overrated for what they charge . I ordered fish and salad Bar. Salad bar had been picked through and almost empty. Wife had. Shrimp and soup. Soup was terrific but shrimp was not. My fish was great salad bar stink. Waitress was good and place was clean. We are from Oregon here till April but this is off... More

Waiting time for dinner is probably average, but it's worth the wait. Never have had a bad meal here. Their seafood is wonderful. Has a very nice salad bar also.

Good seafood choice. A famiily owned restaurant, as if your mother is in the kitchen. Good choice of plates and good execution. The portions are big. Staff very friendly.

Stopped for a break while driving to Savannah and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice server who brought a pitcher of pop to the table when we ordered a glass. Lots of seafood on the menu but opted for salad bar which seemed fresh with ample choices. Shared some delicious grilled shrimp also- only wish we would have had room to... More

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, The decor is nice. There are hardly any places, if any, to eat in Midway, and most of them are closed most of the time. So, Captain Joes is pretty good! Mostly seafood dishes. Food is OK. If you are in Midway, and you're hungry, find Captain Joes and sit a spell.

We frequent Capt Joe's on a regular basis. The soup and salad bar is always a good choice. The shrimp is another good choice.
