I was in McDonough for a month on business, and figured I'd give this place a try....well I'm sure glad I did! The BBQ was excellent! The service was great also. I liked it so much that I went back several times while I was down there. I also tried their catfish, it was also delicious! All in all great... More

We ate at OB's during Memorial Day weekend. The atmosphere is rustic and relaxing. Just what you would expect from a BBQ Joint in Georgia. The wait staff was very nice and made us feel right at home. The Sweet Tea, BBQ and the Brunswick Stew was out of this word. If you are in the area, I would definitely... More

This place is amazing. It slowly smokes their own beef brisket, make their own sides from scratch AND their homemade recipe for sauce is the BEST. Highly recommend this place as it's also easy to get to.

OB's is very rustic inside. The menu has a good variety, if you order a large drink, you get a LARGE drink! There are several Bar-b-Q sauces on the table and the server will tell you about them, and warn you about the hot one. The Savannah chicken salad is wonderful, it's made with smoked chicken and is served on... More

Ok, but I've eaten better. Used to like going there, but there are other barbecue places in the area that are a lot better

If you're looking for good Southern barbecue, then OB's is the place to dine. From barbecue plates, ribs, and sandwiches to the huge selection of other food fare from the menu, you will not leave hungry or disappointed. On our last visit to OB's we dined on catfish filets and flavorful, tender t-bone steak. OB's is located just off I-75,... More

We finally stopped at this restaurant after passing by it on hundreds of occasions while traveling on I-75. Overall it was better than most meals you can get off the interstate for a very fair price. I ordered the catfish and it was good but what made it excellent was the homemade tartar sauce that comes with it. It is... More

$8.95 for BBQ and two sides. Had the 1/2 chicken and other guest had pulled pork. Nice lunch. Did not have Splenda on the tables for the iced tea. The waitress was kind.

Husband had catfish which he said was tasty. I had the brisket which was terrible. Very tough and no flavor at all for brisket which was suppose to be smoked. Probably won't be back here.

OB's has been a McDonough institution since we moved here over 20 years ago. We used to drive 20 minutes each way to get take out from the carry out shack at the end of the restaurant. Over the years, the area has grown and chain restaurants surround it and the street beside it. Sadly, we don't go to OB's... More
