Great value for a delicious local burger joint

We enjoy going to Kirby G's for a great burger and delicious sides. Be sure to try the fried green beans!

KirbyG's is some of the best burger eatin' south of Atlanta. I've yet to have a bad dish to date. I do prefer weeknight visits (or weekends before live music starts). This can rule out a Friday night visit for me due to the noise when the music starts. It's not bad music, but the building layout can put you... More

KirbyG's in McDonough, GA is a really neat restaurant. They play oldie's music and the dining room is decorated with photos of the Rat Pack, John Wayne, Elvis and many others. It's interesting. The food is really, really good. I usually build my own burger and I can get it to 125 degrees, which most places won't do. They have... More

Very basic, but pretty good. Locals only type place, with comfort food and a bar. Off the tourist track, so much easier to get into. Burgers are good, wings basic. But a decent place to get a decent meal.

Looks like the place needs a good scrub down. The bread had absorbed some sort of old lady perfume taste. Our food was delivered by a woman talking on the telephone. No one asked if we needed anything. (Like ketchup or refills)

We were lucky and parked right out front. The curb there can be pretty intimidating. I'm not sure I will go back. I loved the 50's atmosphere, but the food wasn't impressive. I got a double meat burger with swiss, and carmelized onions and a side of deep fried green beans. The beans were a little over cooked and tasteless.... More

I keep going back for the live music. The food and service are just OK but the music is pretty cool. Especially for a town like McDonough. The food is truely average and now a little expensive since they have updated their menu. Not a bad place....but just not excited about it either.

Neat 1950's atmosphere! One of the best burger's I have ever eaten. Service was a little slow at first, but after the wait staff realized they had overlooked us, they were especially attentive. Lots of neat shops nearby on the square.

My husband and I took his uncle from Oregon here for lunch. This is the only place I've been where they make your burgers to order and the hamburger hasn't been frozen, it's nice and fresh. You get a nice amount for the money paid in a neat setting. They also have the old fashioned fountain sodas and milkshakes.

I had the burger with pepper jack cheese, bacon and caramelized onions. That was the juiciest burger ever! It was also seasoned to perfection. The sweet tater tots where delicious. I ordered mine without the suger on top. For my drink, I ordered a chocolate milkshake. It was very good, but came in a very small cup. I spent $13!... More
