Were staying at hotel across the Street and walked over to El Agave. Perfect location as well as service. Food and drinks were terrific with great service.

Food was really good and reasonably priced. Service was so-so. But what turned us off was the noise. Between the music and TV's, couldn't carry on a conversation.

There seems to be a Mexican restaurant on every corner, but the best is el agave. Both the locations in mcdonough are great. The food is delicious and atmosphere nice, especially for the incredible value. Salsa is fantastic. We go twice a month!

I would drive past this place and look elsewhere. We sat on the patio, which was nice. Waitress was polite, but made no recommendations as to what was good or bad (I asked her, she shrugged) We ordered cheese dip - it was typical. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce with nothing added (YUCK!) Food came and was edible (It did... More

We were there on the weekend and enjoyed the food (my husband felt it could use a little more spice. The murals on the walls were special and an added bonus was a singer with a beautiful voice.

This, not easy to find Mexican Restaurant, was well worth the effort. By chance, we arrived during happy hour and some ice cold XX Amber beer at a really good price. Our waiter was an older man who was well versed in the food offered on the menu. He did not, however, believe the XX beer was on sale until... More

We had a party of 8. We found a bug in our salsa, waitress made an excuse. An order was wrong, waitress made another excuse. Food was not very hot and definitely not very good. Plenty of servers just standing around, and service still was terrible. I definitely won't waste my time or money to come back.

Been there several times and it was good, not great, but pretty good. The last time my wife and a coworker both went for lunch, they both got sick. Really sick. I will not eat there ever again.

We love Mexican food, and we tend to be hard to please. El Agave certainly measured up, and we will definitely return when we are back in Georgia. We stopped for lunch around 1 PM, and we were immediately seated and then greeted by our server. Fresh chips and salsa were quickly delivered to our table, and they were wonderful.... More

I am very picky about my Mexican food. La Parrilla is my favorite but this place certainly measured up. We had a large group of 11 ranging in ages of 4 to 60. The service was speedy and the food was awesome. From the cheese dip and the salsa to the guacamole and the tacos. Also great margaritas. Will definitely... More
