We visited Thaicoon with friends for the first time a few weeks ago. The outside doesn't suggest the expansive restaurant inside. And the menu is equally expansive. We each had four different meals, each one expertly prepared and delicious. The wait star was courteous, friendly, and helpful.

Great food and friendly staff. Lots of options and varied menu. A great departure from the usual California and bagel rolls. Delish!

Fantastic & fresh cuisine, well prepared, good service, & affordable. On the historic Marietta Square where there's lots to do and see.

As a regular Thai food consumer, but a first time in this area, I was keen to try this well rated restaurant. The soft shell crab was appalling, quite possibly the worst I have ever had - clearly frozen - and then over battered. Duck curry had well overcooked duck although the sauce was good. Service timing was American rather... More

Its just hard to beat the consistent quality of this Thai and Sushi restaurant. Sure, you can drive into Atlanta for places like Nan or Surin of Thailand for top notch Thai food, but if you live and work out in the northwest suburbs, there's no reason to drive to those other places. Treat yourself to some Basil Duck or... More

While the fake plants can make the place look a bit dated, the service and food are amazing. Whether ordering the sushi boat or their curry dishes, you will have a delicious meal and a fun time. My favorite dish is the Imaginary Sushi roll.

I went with three others and they ordered the clay pot seafood. They really enjoyed their meal. They said the sushi was very good there when they had it at another visit I ordered duck. I don't like spicy and asked for it not to be spicy. I was impressed it wasn't spicy at all. It was very good, but... More

Heard good things about this place and it was packed when we got there. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The place has nice decor and the staff was very friendly. We ordered appetizers, soup, and an entree but didn't order sushi. As we were waiting we noticed most everyone else got sushi. Based on our entrees, in hindsight... More

I'm happy to say that finally Marietta Square is becoming home to a number of very good restaurants, however, Thaicoon and Sushi Bar is the best there is. My family has been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. Not only is the food awesome, but the decor is very nice and the staff provides excellent service. Additionally,... More

Nice atmosphere in festive Marietta Square. Very friendly staff and the sushi is yummy. You know it's good when the restaurant fills up quick and there is sometimes a wait to get in.
