True New Orleans Flavor

I'm from Louisiana, so when I say this is a taste of New Orleans you can believe me. I am always weary when I see a restaurant that claims to be New Orleans food, because most of the time they just add more pepper. From the french bread to the Pecan Pie, it's all Louisiana. Try it , you won't... read more

If you come on a Friday or Saturday night you may need to be prepared to wait or sit at the bar. Most times that I go I sit at the bar. My absolute favorite thing the order is the sweet potato pecan pie. I am not not a huge dessert person but I can hardly ever go there without... More

If you haven't eaten at Pappadeaux, you simply must. We had another fabulous meal, beginning with the fried alligator and calamari. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly done. Our party had the fried oysters, catfish, and shrimp cocktail. We also splurged for some key lime pie, praline cheesecake, and regular cheesecake. Mmmmm, mouthwatering good. The restaurant itself is lively, crowded, and casual. They... More

Don't let the parking lot fool you as it's always full but rarely will you wait more than 10-15 minutes....If you do have to wait, I assure you it's worth it...Went there and had a fantastic shrimp and crawfish fondue dish with garlic bread that you could make a meal out of. Crawfish etouffee and gumbo were spot on...Beer was... More

Came here with a few other out of town co-workers. We had excellent service. Food was delicious - filling and vegetables were made just right (not overcooked). Love that the banana pudding that comes in a mason jar. Downside is that the overall cost of dinner with drinks and a dessert is on the high end. Especially if you are... More

If you like cajun-style seafood this the place for you. The food is awesome. Service also superb. It was very crowded but you can't fault a place for popularity. However, the music should be turned down - it's too loud. Apart from that - don't miss this place if you have the chance.

I eat here several times a year. Food is always delicious, well presented and served in very large portions. This place is always crowded so it will be loud and you will probably have to wait. Service is okay, but could be more attentive. I was disappointed that the manager stopped by our table to "see what was wrong because... More
