Let me start by saying that the menu at this location is far different from the one at Peter Chang's now closed restaurant off Paces Ferry Road but still impressive in it's offering and quality of food served. I was in Atlanta visiting my children over the Thanksgiving Holiday and decided to go there for dinner last Wednesday night. Although... More

Just what I was looking for when I wanted Chinese. Reasonably priced, easy to get to, and tasted great!! Only downside is that during the lunch rush service can get backed up a bit. Not something I would go out of my way to get to but if you're in the area and looking for Chinese, this is a pretty... More

We live in the suburbs of ATL and drive to the city often for events/dinner/etc. However I saw the chef for this restaurant on TV in another state and later learned he had a restaurant locally. Let me first set the tone. It's in a strip mall, nothing fancy but the food was great. I learned reading reviews that you... More

From the coriander fish cigars to the steaming pot of tilapia, everything is spicy but not overpowering. How a dish can have > 50 red hot peppers and still be edible amazes me. The owner served as executive chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC and it SHOWS!

One visit so I went for it and ordered a dish I hadn't had that involved fish balls and a squash puree----interesting and OK wouldn't order again but the extra's more in line with what I can find anywhere were all good. (AKA my son's food and fried rice) Service was lacking which won't ever get five stars--warm glass of... More

Tasty is back on their game again! I tried the Sizzling Beef Steak with Black Pepper Sauce on my last visit. It was incredible! The sauce is rich and flavorful. Be advised that it is very peppery, though. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. The hostess was very polite and inquired about our meal. If anyone can suggest a pork... More

I feel like this restaurant needs some real help. The menu, the atmosphere, the dining experience are truly authentic, but they haven't learned to translate that to the American palate yet. Our waitress exhausted her entire English vocabulary with us in less than 2 minutes. I ordered the Fragrant Shrimp because it lacked the pepper icon next to it (I'm... More

I visited Tasty last month and didn't enjoy the food at all. My bamboo fish just tasted "fried", not dry-fried", but the elephant ear mushrooms were delicious as always. The wait staff is not very good and the restaurant looks dirty of late. The hostess is most unfriendly. The change I was owed when I picked up an order on... More

Coming from San Francisco it's difficult to find anyone restaurant that will prepare the kung pao shrimp to my liking -- believe me, I've tried. Tasty China did a great job -- should have asked for medium hot. Portions are plentiful and you will leave satisfied. The won ton soup was a bit bland but the dumplings were the best.... More

We were there around 3 PM for lunch. We ordered Eggplant with spicy ginger sauce, which was mouth watering and one of the best dishes we had tasted. The other one we ordered was shredded chicken, which was a complete disappointment. So we saw both extremes. Service was excellent. Overall, this is a great restaurant, but quality and taste appears... More
