We visit nearby Big Canoe each Fall with our family. No trip to Big Canoe is complete without a trip to Fuego Mexican Grill. We love the new location. The food is delicious. Our server did a great job and we did not have to wait for a table. Our server said that since moving to the new location business... More

Although it was tight-fitting and not much of a bar area to watch sports...the mince of the old place is missed. However, the new location offers great outdoor seating and had live music. The night we were there the entire inside was reserved for banquets, that was kind of strange. The bar service was okay, but just not the same.... More

They moved in October, 2014. New location is in the Foothills Shopping Center (anchored by the IGA) at Steve Tate & Hwy 53. In my opinion, the bar is better and the outdoor seating is MUCH better. The indoor seating isn't bad but the indoor décor at this location is not as good as the previous location (but that may... More

We checked out Fuego's new location on the opening Friday night. Yikes!!! They were slammed. It took over an hour to receive our meal after being seated. We thought we'd give em' another try. Last night, dinner came out in 5 minutes, the opposite extreme. Granted it was a much slower evening during the middle of the week. The restaurant... More

I live in the area- NOT in Big Canoe. It's in a very small shopping center, the only place to eat. We go here a few times a month, the food is consistently good. Nothing too out of the order when it comes to Mexican food, but there's not many other choices way out here. The steak, whatever it comes... More

What a great location just outside of Big Canoe. Great food, great service, at an excellent price! I enjoyed the meal and the building structure inside is beautiful.

If you are staying at Big Canoe and want to get a bite without having to drive to far try Fuego. Good service, nice variety on the menu and tasty margaritas. One thing to make note of they are not allowed to serve alcohol on Sundays. Located in the little shops outside the main gate.

Good food, good service, and good atmosphere makes for a nice Mexican restaurant. Eat there 2-3 times a month and consistent food and service.

The first time I tried this restaurant a couple of years ago I really did not enjoy it but have been back twice in the last two months and really did enjoy it. Maybe it was because we were there earlier than the rest of the lunch crowd and received excellent service but the food was good as well. I... More

Used to be quality food and service. Not anymore. Dirty bathrooms and slow service. The food was below average. We won't be back which is too bad. We liked to come here after going to the pumpkin patches and Apple farms.
