What a fabulous restaurant. Wonderful decor. A beautifully restored old building. The service was friendly and the food very good. I have to recommend the key lime cake which is baked on-site and is truly wonderful. It is worth going back, just for a piece of that cake :)

Coffee in the morning : rockin' music at night! Service is usually slow but always friendly. Good food quality. Not really a p[lace for dinner (and closed for dinner during the week) but popular and generally very good live music every Friday and Saturday night. Terrific location right downtown.

We found Perk Avenue Cafe online when looking for a place to stop for lunch while driving from SC to AL. It looked like a nice place to get a sandwich or salad. We were so pleased! The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious! Although we were stuffed, we somehow found room for dessert...... three cream puffs in a... More

Stopped in because we wanted a cup of coffee and located where it is on the corner of Main Street you simply can't miss it. It's worthy of its location. The coffee, and I am admittedly a bit of a coffee snob, was spot on. Bold and Strong, but not bitter. And the home backed muffins and scones we shared... More

Food was amazing and extremely fresh! Wish they had another location in Atlanta - I'd be there all the time!

I'm sad to say I didn't have a meal because I was saving space for dinner at Town 220. The staff was extremely nice. I did grab one of their specialty coffees and coming from a place that has "specialty coffees" at every corner I wasn't expecting much. OMG was my drink fabulous! This was a must see for me... More

This was the first time that we had visited Perk Cafe and Coffeehouse in Madison. The staff were so friendly and cordial. The food was delicious. That day we all had salads and they were the absolute best!! They had lots of specialty coffees. Know people from our area of Atlanta that have been and have always had a pleasant... More

Stopped by for a late lunch after going to the Sunflower Festival and enjoyed the experience. The service was timely and the food good. The portion was a little small but just right for a light lunch. The restaurant had quite a few tables with only 2 servers but our gal did a great job hustling.

Perk Avenue is a picturesque café and coffeehouse that offers a warm and memorable experience. With comfortable leather sofas and freshly-brewed coffee, this local eatery invites you to start your day overlooking the streets of downtown Madison while enjoying a freshly-baked blueberry scone. We took another day trip to Madison, Georgia today and we always eat at Perk Avenue in the town of Madison. It has wonderful coffees, sandwiches, wines, baked goods. Dinner if you are there around that time. Also, music some nights. I have their chicken salad. I think you will be pleased with anything on the menu. The owner welcomes... More
