Full afternoon tea

We had a full afternoon tea, which was quite plentiful, considering it was our lunch. The sandwiches, scones, fruit and desserts were delicious, as was the black current tea.

I have eaten here several times now. The service was warm and inviting. The food was GREAT! As older male I thought this wouldn't be my "cup of tea", but I was wrong. The Tea Room is one of my favorite places to take friends when visiting Madison.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop by Madison,Ga on our way to Atlanta. We had both heard that it is a charming, historic town. We could not resist stopping for lunch at the Madison Tea Room and Garden. What a delightful experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top notch and our waitress was very... More

I ate here with my former teacher to catch up. I am from Madison and the experience was so amazing I forgot I was in in my home town. It felt like I was eating in luxury. The food was also excellent. It overall was a wonderful experience.

Several friends and I hosted a bridal tea at the Madison Tea Room and Garden. Everything was done to make our event enjoyable for all in attendance. The room was lovely. The food was delicious. The service was warm and inviting. I have dined here before and had a wonderful experience then too so I have a feeling excellence is... More

The food and décor were exquisite! Wearing the hats and having tea with friends and family, were the perfect setting for sister-in-law's wedding.

We liked everything about it. The atmosphere was tranquil and soothing. Food was excellent and portions were larger than most tea houses. Kathi the owner was very hospitable and the staff was very friendly and informative.

We detoured on a trip to be sure to stop at this tea room, which had been mentioned in Victoria Magazine a year or so ago in an article about Madison. The owner (Kathy) was very cordial and obviously lives to share her love of tea and teacups. The rooms are bright and charming...not too fussy, and the food was... More

Visited this tea shop over the weekend and I cannot say enough how rude the apparent owner/manager was. She was obviously in a hurry for a party that was coming and made several comments that were entirely inappropriate as a host to usher us out of the restaurant. I wondered if this was an out of the ordinary experience, but... More

We were very impressed with the Madison tea room. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of the building and it's renovation into such a lovely space. We had the high tea and everything was delicious. If you've never been to Madison, Georgia it's certainly worth the trip as they have beautiful southern... More
