We dine at Town 220 every time we come through from the Masters in Augusta. Every meal we've had has been excellent! Highly recommend!

We are visiting Lake Oconee for a relaxing weekend . We wanted a special dinner to celebrate a birthday. We tried Town 220 Restaurant in Madison and were very impressed. The waiter was attentive and allowed us to mix appetizers for small plates with salads and an entre. The wine selection was very good as was his recommendation. The shrimp... More

Unable to get to our resort in time for dinner we searched out ,at the last moment, a restaurant in the small town of Madison.Much to our surprise and delight we found this first class restaurant. The ambiance was warm as you stepped down from the outside into an area encompassed by old brick walls and an open kitchen. The service... More

We drove 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta to eat here. It was worth every mile. Beautiful setting, fantastic appetizers, entrees and desserts as well as great wait staff. Open kitchen allows you to see them preparing your dish. That was fun, too.

We tried this restaurant attached to the James Madison Hotel. It is a lovely setting with an appealing patio for a cooler day than we had. We ate inside this high ceilinged room with fun art on the walls. Our waiter was a young man who was just starting to wait tables. What he lacked in attentiveness, he made up... More

While this restaurant is in downtown Madison, it is a short drive fromLake Oconee. Town 220 has a diverse menu that features fresh fish, steaks, ribs, scrumptious pork chops & seafood. They have a full service bar with really good cocktails, my favorite is their capirinha. Nobody beats their ceviche! Reservations are recommended especially when the town of Madison is having... Restaurant exceeded my expectation for a smaller tourist town eating spot. 4 of us, in town for a wedding, found the lunch we had pleasant and reasonably priced. Good menu variety, wine, beer, and service. About $28 per couple plus tip spent for ample entrees with veggies and one peer. I would recommend this restaurant.

Try this restaurant once and you will definitely want to go back again. We were traveling through Madison and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food was delicious. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries and had half of my sandwich left over. The portions are very generous. Others in our group tried a specialty salad, shrimp quesadillas, the... More

The staff, foo, and atmoshere was perfect for our celebration that they helped host. Amazing and arguably the best in town. A definite return trip is in our future when we are home visiting family and friends.
