Cannot believe this restaurant is in a small town

The menu and food at this restaurant rivals those in much larger cities. The food is excellent and the service also. You will not go wrong at this place

I really, really liked this place. We had a big group and the service staff was outstanding. The food was much better than I would have anticipated. I got the shrimp and grits (as suggested) and I was not disappointed. I usually try to get something unique to the area that I may not be able to get back home.... More

We visited Madison for the tour of homes. For dinner we wanted something other than pizza or BBQ. We went to the Town 220 restaurant in the James Madison Inn and Conference center. We were early and sat at the bar for a drink. The bar manager was very congenial and personable. The bar had a decent selection of wine... More

A great place for a date night. Not what I would call a kid friendly place. We have had dinner there several times. We will keep going back.

I've had several meals and find that the whatever the daily special is always a fantastic dish. There seafood dishes are some of the best I've had!

We decided to eat here our second day in Madison, based on the reviews, it sounded good. The restaurant is very pleasant, the service was fine, but the food was tasteless, overdone, and not worth the price. I had the Fried Green Tomatoes, and my husband had the ribs. My tomatoes, were not crispy and served in some kind of... More

I found the atmosphere is a bit too formal, but the servers are friendly and fast. I had the roasted pork chop and was very pleased with it. Far too much meat to finish of course. Here's a suggestion: Make the portions smaller and charge less. Saves on the to-go boxes.

Let me start by saying, it was a group of 18. We only had one waitress for the entire table and she was not very good. Just getting drinks took forever. It was unfortunate that the service was so bad because the food was so good.I had the Steak Pommes Frites which was just steak with french fries. Both were... More

Delicious crab cake appetizer, excellent selection of adult beverages, enjoyed the town 220 salad with shrimp. My spouse had the shrimp n grits and he said they were delish. Creme brulee was the perfect ending for dinner. Excellent service.
