Enjoyed very much. Loved the atmosphere. I am going to try out their Shrimp and Oyster Poboys as well as the Gumbo
We don't understand all the good to excellent reviews listed by Trip Advisor and other websites for this restaurant located in Locust Grove, GA. (There are very few reviews listed as average or below average on any of these sites.) Why? We lived in Louisiana for 25 years, and the food served, as well as the customer service, provided by this... More
How refreshing to have a non-chain restaurant to eat south of Atlanta! Great Cajun type food and also burgers. Food and service always good. Great decor as you feel like you are in the big easy. If you want a change from the ordinary, eat here.
Husband made reservations from miami for our family of 3, as my daughter was going to be home from college on this evening and we wanted a special evening. We arrived at our reserved time and for $50 each and a limited menu, we made our selections. When it came time for dessert, there was no cheesecake left only bread... More
Stopped here on our way to Atlanta. What a pleasant surprise. The food is really great! Fresh bread baked on the premises. Food that is a combo of french bistro and traditional Southern fare. We had lunch and ordered panini type sandwiches with salad. They make their own dressing and it was fantastic. I will note that the service was... More
We arrived at this small town restaurant about 45 minutes outside of Atlanta on a recommendation. We called ahead and they said come around 8:00 and they could seat us (party of 4). We got there at 8:05and we still had a 30 minute wait. Once seated the food was well worth it. Unfortunately, they had run out of some... More
I visited the restaurant while on a business trip in McDonough. What a lovely addition to the trip. First of all, the main street where the restaurant is located is simply adorable. Great first impression. When you walk in the door - you instantly feel like you are in a New Orleans establishment. Great vibe! The hostess and waitress were... More
My friend and I were traveling north on I-75 and wanted to have lunch at a local eatery. We saw several signs advertising this establishment on the interstate but were still a little leery. We drove through Exit 212 not seeing anything that struck us as being interesting until we took a right on Georgia Highway 42. We entered a... More
We visited this restaurant after reading a good review on it. The restaurant is located in an home decor shop. On the menu there are South Atlanta's hottest dishes featured by an eclectic mix of Southern and New Orleans cuisines. It is very spicy but enjoyable. Waiters are gentle and proficient.
I have dined at the French Market and Tavern in Locust Grove GA before, and I would not say that the experience was marginal, just not note worthy. Yesterday, Sunday brunch, My Wife and I called and made a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We were seated right away and we had the most delightful experience. Jermaine was... More
