Nicest option in the area.

My family and I ate here recently on a quick trip to Locust Grove. There are not a lot of options so we ate here. This is a really unique place in a beautiful downtown. There is a restaurant and a gift shop. The restaurant has a lot of New Orleansy kind of French food. You won't find the... read more

This restaurant/shop is located in the small Locust Grove downtown area. There is plenty of free parking on and across the street. When we first walked in, we went through a cute gift-store area which had eclectic items full of southern charm. It really set the ambiance well. We were seated right by the large windows so we had a... More

Food is good, but for the amount or the type of food, is pricey. The Atmosphere not that great, it feels like you eating at antic place, which they have lots of antics for sale.

We were on a business trip and this place was recommended by a local colleague. Great food, charming ambience and there was shopping available for those so inclined in our party. Generous portions so bring an appetite. Great desserts. Southern faire- fried green tomatoes, crawfish Etouffee, colard greans. All very fresh tasing with distinct flavors. I will return here on... As someone who lived in New Orleans for 5 years, I am always looking for good NOLA food to bring me back to those days. The French Market and Tavern does just that! The experience started with fried green tomatoes and finished with a catfish poboy and Abita beer. The store, friendly service, and excellent food are both worth the... More

The decor is nice but our chicken cordon bleu was burned and the stuffed catfish was cold inside. This isn't our first time with very poorly cooked food. I don't understand the positive reviews as the food is poor quality. Recent health scores were 60-80 too.

I was very exited to eat here. When we got there I saw the prices were very high. I figured the food should be very good. It was the oppset of good. The food was very nasty. The bill was way to much for Alfull food. When we were walking out I noticed the heath inspection was hid behind the... More

The atmosphere is casual with a Pop of rustic romance with lanterns and charm. The menu highlights food from New Orleans, coupled with a nice wine list. Deserts are magnificent and varied. Who could ask for anything more? I almost forgot the great shopping opportunity...lots of unique gifts and items for your home.

I've had the pleasure of dining in this establishment a few times now, but stopped by with my husband a couple of weeks ago for his first visit before a little shopping trip at Tanger Outlets. He was hesitant when I suggested the restaurant for lunch, then later claimed it was one of his most memorable dining experiences in a... More

The atmosphere at this place is what lured me in. Modern Industrial with a French flair. The menu is pretty good and the food was pretty good as well. The shop is really cool with a lot of interesting products. It is a hidden gem.
