Lotsa fun, great service, good food

Think Cracker Barrel French. Shop is French country and restaurant. I like the menue, twists on classics, Osso Buco Duck, Catfish and Shrimp Etouffee..... all good. Sit at the bar and be blown away by the expo. Great date place or celebration venue. The martinis are excellent.

Service and food are typically exceptional; however, today was the exception to the rule. Our server was very courteous and attentive, so I can only assume the issue was with the kitchen. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger, med-well, with "fresh" jalapeños. When served, the burger was well done, with picked jalapeños. I also made a point of asking that my fries... More

I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. They have a good selection of food on the menu and it is well prepared. The wait staff are trained well and friendly. Hostess with the Mostess: Joy Wedemeier is always warm and welcoming on the weekends. There is a nice little "market" to shop in and outside... More

I love the fact that the chef is always trying out new dishes that are always adventurous and always delicious with a cajun flair. Great atmosphere and the shop has such a variety of home decor, soaps and all sorts of fun odd and ends.

I never knew this place was in my own backyard until recently. I visited for the first time on a Friday evening and I was pleasantly surprised! The food, the service, and the atmosphere exceeded my expectations! I had the shrimp & grits and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely go back!!!

Great restaurant and worth the short trip from the interstate exit. Will turn a quick overnight stop into a memorable evening. Everyone was happy with their selections but those willing to try the New Orleans inspired selections will appreciate them.

My parents live in Locust Grove, and I grew up there and it is so neat to see the history in this building. My family and I have eaten lunch here many times and I always have a wonderful experience. The staff is very accommodating and remember their customers when they return. Since my parents frequent more often than I... More

Our "go to" destination for date night, The French Market has it all-- superb food, relaxing ambiance, excellent service, and a very interesting shop. We love it.

we came to your "restaurant" for mothers day...the brunch was over priced for the items offered...we did have a party of six and we tip according to service...this was not an option...we were charged almost 20% for someone to fill up the glasses after having to ask several times...will never come again and will tell my family and friends not...
