We have been going here since it was the Mellow Mushroom. Same management and the same great menu as before, you will not be disappointed if you dine here. They have a great sandwich and salad menu, calzones, etc., but the real star is the pizza. Service is quick, the pizzas are made to order and the beer is ice... More

We went by tonite and from the looks of the interior, our favorite pizza joint in the whole known world appears to have closed. The pizza was the best, but as owner/hostess/waitress/dishwasher/cook, etc. they don't come any better than Ida. We had not been by in several weeks and regret not being able to tell Ida, Mark, & Dave THANK... More

Fantastic pizza!! It's so hard to find non-chain places in this area of town, especially pizza. So thankful several people posted about this place. Crust is thin and has a great texture. Pizza is about the toppings and not smothered in sauce. Best pizza I've had in the Atlanta area in quite a while. Must try! Like other readers have... More

Delicious. I dream of this pizza. Formally a Mellow Mushroom. The difference is Ida's is better (crust, cheese, toppings, freshness, service!), and Ida says the only price she has raised over the last 16 years is soda...upped like 20 cents. (1.79 with tax, wah) if you haven't eaten here, you must. Plus Ida is wonderful, and she has a wonderful... More

If you're ever in Duluth/Lawrenceville, GA, you have GOT to stop by Ida's Pizza Kitchen. It's a small and cozy place (used to be a Mellow Mushroom). The crust is heavenly and the ingredients are fresh. The sauce is just right. Sandwiches and calzones are always a good choice to, but we prefer the Ida's Special Pizza. Oh...and you gotta... More

I am not the kind of person that eats at chain restaurants when I am out of town and I wanted to try Ida's pizza after seeing the good reviews on here. Upon arrival, the building looked almost deserted but I saw the small Open sign gleaming strong so I pulled in. There place was empty but the older gentleman... More

As we travel all over I always check reviews for a place to eat. Since Ida's had such great reviews we wanted to give it a try. Surprised when we found the building, it is old and in need of repair. There were 2 cars in the lot. We went in and one couple was at a table and one... More

Ida's Pizza Kitchen provides a quiet, pleasant atmosphere and excellent pizza for a relaxing family dinner. The menu provided each member of our family their choice of pizza or sandwiches and beverages.

If you are looking to be well treated and craving great pizza this is the place. The pizza crust is nice and thin, with a garlicky-buttery taste. The sauce is good too. I also ordered a calzone, and unfortunately that was a disappointment. The calzone dough was rubbery and not as crispy and I would have liked it to be.... More

Whenever I travel from Tennessee to Georgia to visit my boyfriend, we are almost always likely to stop in and get a pizza at Ida's. We've been going for about 2 years now and the pizza and service can't be beat! I absolutely love this place. Keep up the great work Ida, Dave, Katie, and Mark! :-) Ida always know... More
