Experience casual fine dining by a lake in the mountains in the Lake Rabun Hotel's award winning restaurant. In winter enjoy the old stone fireplace for a glass of wine before dinner. In warm weather dine on one of the decks under the stars, pines and hemlocks. The restaurant is known for great food, service and southern hospitality earning it a Best of Atlanta award.

Seven family members getting together for the evening for food and fellowship. Service was great with Tia. She was very knowledgable about the origins, the textures and the taste of the food. She left no glass unfilled and no special need unnoticed. The resturant manager was Josh and he was giving constant attention to the tables and stopping to speak. The food... More

We visited for an anniversary and had Sunday Brunch. The food was full of flavor and the portion sizes were just right. The service staff was very friendly and efficient and the hostess was exceptional. There is nothing they could have done better. We will return if were ever in the area again.

About 90-min north of Atlanta, this is a quaint and attractive hotel/restaurant. Went there for Sunday brunch. Food and service were excellent, BUT, the whole experience was spoiled by a poor excuse for coffee! It was colored water! When the place has so much going for it why would you serve this crap. Coffee drinkers are getting more and more... More

The scenic view and atmosphere were great, but the food was even better. The Sunday brunch selections consisted of some great platters. We loved those fried green tomatoes and exquisite cheese balls we got before our main course. Um um good!

The food was good, the service was even better. Haven't been anywhere in a long time that the servers were so attentive without being intrusive (I get SOOOO tired of being either ignored or asked "Is everything delicious?" or some other manner of inane, disingenuous question or comment) I opted for a menu "staple" (and permitted to substitute brussel sprouts... My husband and I have been vacationing in Sky Valley for over 30 years, and had never driven through Lakemont until this year. We found reviews for Lake Rabun Restaurant online - and this place deserves rave reviews. The pork dish is one of the best things we've ever tasted anywhere anytime. Jeremy, the bartender and our server went out... More
