Service was lacking and food was average and overpriced. It was the best part of the stay at Lake Rabun Hotel if that says anything.

This little hidden hotel is our favorite place to go when we just want to get away from the city. The staff is friendly, the food in the restaurant is amazing, and we love the cocktails. We've stayed at the Andrae Room and recently, Aug. 17, 2014, we stayed in the Moonshine Room. We want to stay in all the... More

Went here with a large group last week. They were not equipped to handle our group of 20 even though we had reservations and were required to pre-select 3 entrees for our group. Service was not great but management was worse. Several in our party could see into the office and watched the mgr playing on Facebook while we were... More

Went to LRH for our 25th anniversary, and to check out the new chef. We were delighted to be served by Josh, former manager of the restaurant, who is back helping out in the transition. Josh always adds to the dining experience, which should always be the case with fine dining. And the food...oh wow! Chef Ryan is an excellent... More

My husband and I celebrated our 26th anniversary with dinner at lake rabun hotel. We live close by and have been going to this place for years. Hard to believe but they are actually better every time I eat there

Only one and a half hours form Atlanta but seems far away. Beautiful rustic setting and wonderful food. Have been many times and I am always surprised by the inventive , tasty menu. You can't go wrong with any choice here. Lovely brunch on Sunday and located near beautiful drives around Lake Rabun.

Totally understand why this place is always booked. The food is excellent and the restaurant's charm makes you want to keep coming back for more.

The peach Martini was as good as it can get. The entrees were ok but the sautéed spinach was not to had unless you ordered the vegetable plate. No figure! The service was good and even the water boy got tipped. He was outstanding. The desserts were all made with fresh goodies and can't be beat. Very busy place!

I recently dined at the Lake Rabun Hotel Restaurant with my family. We were seated promptly by a very friendly young hostess and our waiter was prompt and courteous. The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was amazing. However, during the course of our meal, I noticed the floor manager outright ignoring the needs of tables, including... More

Wonderful food, great location. Not too many choices but this restaurant would stand out most anywhere. Casual, but elegant, dinning. The sunday brunch is fabulous.
