This is a classic hole in the wall, Souther BBQ joint, which is my favorite type of place. I've eaten here several times in the past and thought it was not as good this time. I liked the pork sandwich and vinegar sauce. I believe they cook hams rather than shoulders/butts. I didn't care for the Brunswick stew and think... More

I recently saw a BBQ special on our local PBS channel and since I love BBQ I couldn't wait to try some of the ones featured. We went to Dean's first since we were going to be on the area. I had read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor & was glad I ordered the BBQ sauce on the side....soooo... More

Passed Dean's many times over the years, and finally stopped in with a friend. The atmosphere is 1960 with A/C! The Original Pork Plate was served with coleslaw and Brunswick stew. The pork was served very wet (floating) and was likely ham cuts - average and served hot.

Great BBQ. Very very plain restaurant. This is a place to eat, not much atmosphere. Inexpensive. Sandwich, drink and chips $5.00. Great stew.

One of the best (along with Sprayberry's in Newnan and Fresh Air in Jackson), it's simple, and it's simply the best pulled pork BBQ sandwich in the area.

Dean's Barbeque is a simple hole in the wall, offering the best barbeque pulled pork sandwich. I used to live ten minutes from there, I moved away more than ten years, and still crave it. When I have a chance, I visit them. I got my Dean's Barbeque cure today :) It's affordable for family too.

I have been visiting Dean's BBQ for many years . I always enjoyed their bbq sandwiches , chips and a coke. I hate to leave a bad review but I have to be honest. I ordered a chopped pork plate. They do give you a lot for the price. You get pork, stew , cole slaw, white bread , pickles... More

The 'cue here is really good. It's a very small place (sort of the typical 'hole in the wall' type place). But this is one of the very few places I actually order 'cue. It's very lean with almost no fat, and none of the 'junk' you occasionally get with some cue (i.e. bits of bone, gristle, etc.). I always... More

It's definitely hole in the wall BBQ. The sandwiches are good (a little small so if you're hungry, get two.) It's not the best BBQ I've ever had but it's not bad.
