We've eaten at Buckners on many occasions and always enjoyed the people and the food. The food has always seemed a little salty, but I never gave it much thought. The last few visits my wife has checked my blood pressure before and after eating there and sadly is bringing this great dining experience to a screeching halt. I had... More

If you want good basic food and meet some new friends, give this place a try. Vegetables appear to be from a can, but were still tasty. Fried chicken and sliced beef were our meat choices. Staff was attentive to our needs, checking on us very often. Being seated around a large round table allowed us to make new friends.... More

For starters, you must pay $15.50 to enter. That was not the problem. I travel a lot and good food is a bit costly. You can imagine my shock when we were served vegetables from a can, enjoyed rude service, and all was topped off with peach cobbler for dessert that was not even cooked thoroughly. What a disappointment! I... More

Great if you love company and amazing fried white meat chicken. As well as all the usual southern add-ons. Water, sweet or unsweet tea. Peach cobbler for desert.

This place is so good from the coke slaw to the fried chicken! They have a huge lazy Susan in the tables center and you spin the food around to each person at the table. Go check it out! Yummy!

We brought our family group of 12 (including a couple little ones) to Bucker's while on vacation. The restaurant is colorful and clean, with an upbeat atmosphere. The service was friendly and prompt - we were seated and had hot food before us within minutes! (Which is a great plus when you have kids in your party.) And the food... More

Passing by this place on I-75 is a missed opportunity to eat the Best fried chicken and southern home styled vegetables at their finest moment. The food is fresh and served in bowls on the "lazy susan" table. The food is hot, fresh, local sourced and very tasty. This restaurant is family run and served by the same staff for... More

We went out of our way to come here with our family of five. There was food for everyone in this family style restaurant. It had the best chicken and coleslaw I have ever eaten and the service was great. A treasure off the beaten path!!!

If my family passed exit 201, we stop here if they are open (Thursday-Sunday). Buckner's has the best fried chicken in the South, and that is saying something! We also love their Brunswick stew, BBQ, stewed tomatoes, and slaw. Stop here, you will not be disappointed.
