Great home cooking, excellent service

Loved the homestyle cooking -- and prices!! And for Spanish/ Catalan, they open remarkably early. The restaurant was full of diners by 7:30. We had wood-fire oven baked rabbit and duck, both the best and tastiest dishes. The lamb was delicious too and the flavour very natural. The pork trotters... read more

Decent meals, i.e., some are good, some (many actually), are mediocre. Still, not a bad option for Ullastret and Palau-Sator (Peretallada has better eateries). Service is okay, pretty quick.

Excellent Place to eat and visit , they use products that they grow like beans, wine and oil home made, also they have a small museum that would transfer you centuries back and a room that they use for a tasting of their grown products.

We stopped at Mas Pou for dinner after our cycling trip. It is right next to the agricultural museum which is a worthy stop if you like old tools. The dinner was. Very good and well presented. The price was moderate. Indoor and outdoor seating. They gave us a seat near The window so we could keep an eye on... More

Very good food for a reasonable price. Typical Catalan dishes. They keep the essences of these dishes. Since it is a big and local restaurant, the service cannot accomplish all the standards. Although, they are very helpful. Food presentation is nice, but could be improved.

Been to Mas Pou on several occasions and never had a bad meal. Went with friends in February and the meal was superb. Went with some more friends in April and the meal was equally as superb. The service is excellent and great value for money. Put Mas Pou on your must visits while in Catalunya!

We stopped by for lunch at Mas Pou - six people, three generations. We ate very well, the price was very reasonable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I can give no higher priase than saying it was the only restaurant my wife wanted to go back to!

This was our second visit, and since it was a quieter time of year, we were seated immediately for lunch. We ordered a shared platter to start but requested no snails! The manager happily replaced them with calamari but then brought us a "small portion" as he told us he served 20,000 snails a week and we would be missing... More

We know the area quite well, but had never been to this restaurant before and were introduced to it by friends who are regulars. I can see why. The village of Palau-Sator is a lovely place and sitting outside in the restaurant garden in the summer is delightful - a little oasis of greenery and tranquilly next to the Rural... More
