We walked down the hill from our hotel the first night in town, and enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night! Great food, great wine and beer selections, and excellent service.

We stopped in for dinner without reservations. They just had a no-show so we were seated right away. Our server, Reed, was pleasant and helpful. The Wahoo and Steak was great. We had a very nice time.

I was very disappointed. When we first got there, at least 4 different waiters came by to take our drink order. Each didn't know the other had already taken them. It was like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. We finally ordered our food. I ordered the 16 oz Prime Rib with mash potatos. When... More

The food at this small-town restaurant was good, but not brilliant. The waitress was friendly, but she forgot to bring out one of the starters, and then forgot to bring a glass of wine which we had ordered. Overall not terrible, but not the place to go if you are looking for a special night out.

We were there for a late lunch...I had a club type sandwich and Alex the bison burger.....both large portions and very good. Good atmosphere and very affordable.

Run if your waiter is Ricky. This place took our eye. Stopped without checking any reviews. Very pleasant greeting and seated immediately. As it was early in the evening, not many customers. Pleasant waiter when he came to the table. It all went way down hill from there. Said he'd be right out with the bread. The service went south... More

Best burgers in town, great brunches (and so affordable!), very good fish 'n' chips, a truly memorable roast duck breast salad for only $12! Really good desserts and a very good chef. Very good ambiance.

This restaurant has a nice view of Lake Chatuge - but, despite the cliche the food was great!! Sunday brunch at this restaurant is from a menu, but you can also order from their lunch menu as well. We stuck to the brunch menu. I had the flatbread scrambled eggs, which was served like a pizza - moist, delicious, must... More

On a recent road trip, we came across The Chop House in Hiawasee. What a pleasant dinner we had. Our waiter, Lee was superb , very attentive and helped with our selections. My husband had the chicken in lemon sauce and I had the pork chops with a spicy peach sauce . The food was abundant and extremely tasty. The... More

The other day a couple of friends and I decided on lunch at the Chop House overlooking the beautiful Lake Chatuge. We were seated immediately and our friendly waitress was attentive. We each ordered a different salad and they were very tasty. Lunch was very reasonably priced. I've had dinner at Chop House in the past and the meals were... More
