The food is excellent and the portions are large. The prices are high by Hiawassee standards. Their chocolates are wonderful. Nice place.... but I don't go often.

My husband and I ate lunch here last week while in Blairsville. Just a fantastic experience! My husband has the roast beef chocolate wrap. Sounds strange but unbelievably good. I highly recommend the wedge salad with shrimp. So much that I had some for lunch the next day. The coffee was served with a press and was the topping on... More

This is the best place in town for lunch. Great panini's and grinders. Quick, polite service with decent views of Main St. Dinner has the same great food with some additional dinner entrees which are increasing in number. The deserts are the best anywhere. We occasionally stop for desert after dinner elsewhere, and are always glad we did. The one... More

We were driving through Hiawassee and looking for a place to stop for some mid-afternoon coffee/tea, and ended up at Michaelee's. We also ordered one of the enticing desserts from the case. Really enjoyed everything. We're staying in the area and thinking about returning for dinner!

Visited with friends and really enjoyed the meal. Food is good, service fine. A little noisy as the entire interior has hard surfaces - difficult to carry on a conversation when crowded.

The service was spotty (though very nice) but the food was absolutely outstanding. We'd definitely go back.

Been a year since my last visit to Michaelee's and the food is still some of the best in the area. I had the shrimp ravioli and one of the chocolate mouse cakes for dessert. Both were excellent. Love this place, wish I could eat there every day.

For being reviewed so highly we gave it a try. The food was good. Service not so great. A bit pricey for the quality and amount of food.

Vickie at the Ridges recommended we go to this "Chocolate Café"...sounded strange to have sandwiches with Chocolate on them...but that isn't exactly what you get. They make a wrap with chocolate in it, and fill the wrap with various foods. We had one Chicken, and one Roast Beef. The Chocolate wrap gives you a subtle Chocolate flavor and aroma, and... More

I made reservations from Florida and we were greeted and seated by very nice people. The place was very busy, not very big, but well worth it. The food was out of this world. Highly recommend you try this place.
