Back again due to previous experience

Food was good, service was nice as well. She promptly replaced my husband's salad which tasted bitter to him with their French Onion soup, which was very good. I had the strawberry spinach salad, which was delicious. We also had the stuffed flounder, Ahi Tuna and the Tortelini - all very good!

This is the 3rd time to go. There is a great difference in the previous trips. Service was not good due to having only 1 waitress. Good thing we went early, only 2 other tables with patrons. The other side's bar area was packed. Food was overlooked. Salads were average at best. Wife had a Caesar salad that had no... More

We were well satisfied with the staff, food, service, and pricing at portofino's. We had the nachos for an appetizer which were very good. Our main orders were the angus burger and a cobb salad. The food came very timely despite there being a huge crowd and people waiting to be seated. There was a favorite band, Topper, providing live... More

The appetizers (Calamari and Bruschetta) were very good. The entrees were just OK. I had the Seafood Stew, which I think was supposed to be a version of Cioppino, but the broth was really just a very thick marinara sauce that overpowered the seafood. The dessert, bread pudding was really super good.....could eat that every day. The server seemed a... More

We had just returned from the Ga Mountain Fair and looked for a place for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with the menu, wine list and service at Cafe Portofino. We all enjoyed the meal from start to finish. This small town has some good local food, but really good upscale Italian was not expected.

Dinner here Saturday night was very good. We were delightfully surprised to have fresh oysters for an appetizer. I had a great pasta and a glass of Pinot Noir and my boyfriend had a good steak. The piano playing in dinner was very nice and relaxing, the room across the hall with dancing just sounded so fun! Our first visit... More

Nice menu also had a menu in the bar food snacks and appetizers. Reasonably priced, good service. Great view overlooking the lake and after dinner The Sandbar is a short walk away. This very casual bar atmosphere has live music and great drinks.

We stopped by for beer and a lunch. Patio dining was delightful with view of the lake. The food menu was limited (burgers, chicken fingers, wraps, salads and such) but my husband's meatball sub and home made potato chips (warm!) were good. I had the burger on top of the house salad and it was just right. Nice assortment of... More
