We had been in Helen for 10 days and not really impressed with the restaurants until we stopped into Nacoochee Grill for lunch. The caprese salad was off the hook. Sandwiches were creative and very good. I didn't find anything packaged. Home made dressings. Great drinks. We wanted a little twist on one of the drink specials and no problem... More

I really don't know what Bill M. from Cornelia was looking at, but Mullys is the furthest thing from a "Sports bar"We go once a month for "Date night". I remember the previous owners and the improvement today is remarkable. The shrimp and grits and the grilled salmon are as good as we've had anywhere.

The burger was good but it was not worth the price charged. Specials on the chalkboard at the front were not available (ever hear of an eraser) and the only vegetarian option was terrible mushy and fried without any seasoning. This used to be a good place with a good chef but since changes in ownership it is not good.... More

Back when I first started going to the Nachoochee Grill (about 2001) this was a great restaurant with a real chef. The entrees were unique, flavorful and well prepared. The service was great.as was the ambiance. It felt and tasted like fine dining. After at least one change in ownership, this restaurant has descended into being a sports bar type restaurant... More

We ate last night. We all got something different. I had the shiimp and grits and they were good. Son had the grilled trout and it was excellent. Daughter had cajun fried fish and it was really good. Birthday girl had the shrimp scampi and it was also very good. The there was the deserts. The Mississippi Mud was very... More

At the recommendation of the owner of the log cabin we were renting, we went to Mully's last night. The restaurant is in an old home on a hill. We were welcomed by all staff we saw, sat at a table in a sunroom by a small garden. The windows were surrounded by white lights. The menu was varied and... More

My wife ordered the trout with mashed potatoes and vegetables. She said its some if the best trout he has ever had. I ordered the ribs. I love ribs...but these unfortunately were just ok. The mashed potatoes were great. The grits were pretty good. Staff was nice. We would go back.

Quite possibly the best food we have ever eaten. Tim , our waiter was right on target with service, hospitality and knowledge of the menu. Molly greeted us and gave us a recipe. Great place for fork eatin ribs.

We drove down from NC to visit Helen and heard from a friend about Mully's. It was amazing! The food was outstanding and the service was great. Felt like a family atmosphere among the staff. Met the owner, Mully, and you can tell how proud he is of the food and service. He has a great personality and will explain... More

If you are looking for a quiet little restaurant with good food and ambiance, then this is the place to go. There is a simplistic elegance to the property but a menu that rivals many upscale restaurants. We were greeted immediately, no waiting time and were served very promptly. The shrimp and grits were divine and hubby enjoyed the BBQ... More
