Went there on our first night in town. Small placed, pack to the brim, and people waiting 45 minutes to eat...We figured it must be good, and it was. We got the Popeye pizza 12" for two of us and it was the perfect amount. Enjoyed nice local wine and beer too.

The pizza was excellent and the beer selection is great! Good place to hang out with friends and watch a game. Very laid back atmosphere.

We ate here our last day in Helen on a recommendation of a local. They offer gluten-free pizza and my vegetarian gluten-free pizza was good, hot & cheesy. Unfortunately my husband found his pizza to be tasteless. Our other problem there was that we were told they were out of the small size regular crusts that night so my husband... More

After an extremely long day of sight seeing, instead of cooking something at the cabin, we called ahead to pick up a pizza at Nacoochee Village Tavern and Pizza. It was probably the worst idea we had in the fortnight we spent in Helen. Flavorless pizza makes you feel like you're not really eating. It left a bad after taste... More

My husband and I have eaten here 3 times. We had to wait the first time but the popcorn you could eat while you waited was really tasty and the pizza was outstanding. We decided to eat there again before we left town and were pleased again. This year we ate here again and both the popcorn and the pizza... More

My husband and I stopped at this place during oktoberfest the pizza is amazing. We had half carnivore half junk. I am contemplating going back before I hit the road. The staff and atmosphere was laid back (good thing)

We were staying at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn & Spa and stopped here on our way back to the Inn and picked up a pizza to go so we could enjoy the views from the Inn. Some of the best pizza I've eaten.

Our pizza and sub were great! We had a carnivore pizza and chicken parm cosmo. Absolutely divine. Beer selection was great as well. Our waitress really made the awesome place into a not great experience. We were ignored most of the night. We were never asked if we needed refills, if we needed anything, etc. The guy who brought our... More

It has been about a year since I have been to the Nacoochee Village Tavern and Pizza. The only word my mind keeps repeating is; WHY? Why has it been so long since I have come back through Helen and visit my favorite restaurant in town; the Nacoochee Village Tavern and Pizza? I feel just plain stupid and lazy not... More
