Let's start with the table cloths: sticky. And then the tables are unusually wide, which leaves you feeling far away from your friends. Food strictly mediocre. Service good, prices reasonable. Wouldn't bother going back. Too many other places up and down the strip that are better.

We have eaten there several times it is always good. This time I had my dog and they had seating outside for me, they brought him a large bowl of water and all of them came and made over him. My food was great and brought quickly. The servers were all friendly. I had my granddaughter and one of her... More

My husband and I have been to Helen four times in 27 odd years. We have always had at least one meal here and I have always had the Reuben sandwich. That sandwich is worth the trip from TN!! Now that said I will say, the French dip my husband had was only so so. The location is great but... More

That was the best Rueben sandwich we ever had. And they did not charge us extra to share our lunch (as some restaurants in Helen do). Also, the outdoor patio had a lovely view of the river.

Stopped in, hoping for an "international" lunch. Had the Hummus appetizer (with toasted pita bread), which was actually very good. However, my wiener schnitzel was bland and flavorless. It was burned on the bottom, and had no seasoning whatsoever. I had trouble tasting anything but the breading. (And that was bland.) The red cabbage must have come out of a... More

Nothing fantastic about the food, other than the portion sizes. But, still a great place we have frequented a number of times. Service, for us, has always been very good to excellent. It's a tourist spot, not fine dining. If you go in expecting that you won't be disappointed. Our only complaint is the horrible parking situation. We're usually there... More

We ordered a couple of Reuben's and a Roast Beef sandwich and you would not believe the amount of meat that each sandwich came with (not to mention the great taste). I grew up in Atlanta where there are some awesome Jewish delis and this place is comparable. Kudos to the owner and quick service too!!

The outside seating area on the river is comfortable and picturesque. The waite staff is pure southern charm, courteous, attentive, and helpful. I had the brats which were very good but nothing to rave about. The prices were comparable to the restaurants in a tourist town. It is a convenient, pleasant, place to dine with friends and family.

We had 10% coupon so we decided to give it a try. So... The schnitzel was so big, it wouldn't fit on the plate. Perfectly seasoned and super tender (I tried a bite just to know what it's like). Didn't care a whole lot for sides, but it's just my taste. "German hot dog" (Brat in Brod or something like... More

Called in for a beer and snack. Great sitting area outside with ceiling fans to keep cool. Table service a bit slow and server not really friendly/talkative. But the beer was good and the hummus and pita bread lovely.
