We actually just "stumbled" into the Dwarf House...we were looking for the closest Chick-fil-a to where we were staying and it was the Dwarf House (the original CFA restaurant). It was fun to seem some of the pictures of the original restaurant and how it has changed. And of course, the quality was just as good as every other CFA...especially... More

So glad we were able to fit this into our trip. I'm a CFA fan through and through. Was excited to see where it all started. I do have to admit as an interracial family, it did seem a bit segregated if you will. It's what I expected being in the south, although we had been to many other cities/towns... More

Love this place, they have chick dil a if you want that, but on the other side they have the sit down order section. This is the original place for the founders of Chick-Fil-A. They have some pictures up with the history. We had breakfast which was great.

Too high a rating for a fast-food outlet? I think not. This establishment is the original home of Chick Fil-A and is Store #1 in more than name only. Whether you want a quick in-and-out experience or to dine in, you'll be happy. The founder's philosophy is "Food is essential to life, therefore make it good" is upheld in fine... More

Wow what a neat place to visit! This is where Chick-fil-a got it's start! The food is the same as any other Chick-fil-A but the atmosphere is great!

I visited this restaurant, the original Chick-fil-a, when I worked in ATL in the mid-90s. Love it still! Now I've been able to take my kids there too. They loved it, especially the dwarf door and the fact that a Chick-fil-a sells BURGERS! Haha! (Shhh, don't tell the cows.) I actually think my standard Chick-fil-a sandwich was cooked to order... A truly unique dining experience. This is where S Truett Cathy started Chick-fil-a. It is now two restaurants in the same building. One side is a regular Chick-fil-a and the other when you walk in is like the original restaurant he started with more options including beef. Another of his restaurants called Truett's is set up the same way but... More

Who doesn't love the chicken sandwiches here. I mean it was the best place we could stop before heading to the airport.

I took my wife here to see where it all started. There are only portions of 2 of the original walls remaining. The dine-in portion of the building reflects a 70's diner. We sat at the counter to watch the preparation of the food. It seemed a bit cramped for those behind the counter. They had a few hiccups -... More
