I would recommend that you not go to this place. No lunch menu anymore. When we asked about the lunch menu, the lady(that brought us chips and salsa) just turned around and walked away without saying anything. When we asked our waitress about it, she said "no, we don't have the lunch menu anymore" and didn't give an explanation. I... More

This used to be an excellent bargain. Good food and good service at very reasonable prices. (The bathroom, however, was really ratty--not clean, holes in the drywall--and it stayed this way for a very long time.) Did they change cooks or food supplier? The last few visits were disappointing.

Our hotel desk recommended this restaurant when my husband and I said we did not like dining in chain restaurants. It's in a strip shop, not fancy, but the service was excellent and food was delicious. The server brought out warm, fresh tortilla chips/salsa right away. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken frajitas, with refried beans, lettuce, guacamole. I really... More

We have been eating at this restaurant for many years and this is my first review on them. Over the past year we have been experiencing poor service and poor food. I'm not sure what is going on with them, but it is a big problem. We normally come for lunch and are greeted fast, but that is where it... More

My wife and I eat here at least once a week. The service is always good. As soon as you set down there is a basket of fresh chips and salsa on the table. The margaritas are excellent. The food is always fresh and served piping hot. This is a family owned business that is always working hard to provide... More

Only two things stick out from our visit. One, the ladies room appeared clean but smelled like something died. Two, the portions were smaller than most Mexican places. The food was just normal, the salsa was a little better than average but my husband's burritos special was tiny. They were half the size or less than what I consider normal.... More

My wife and I went there for lunch last Saturday. Quick, friendly service. Good authentic Mexican food. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

This by and far the best place to eat in Gainesville. The food is perfectly priced and tastes great. This is where the Latin American folks in town eat. The tortilla chips and salsa are to die for, as is any entree, which I have eaten 90 percent of the menu. The service is good as well and the owners... More

The food always good and the staff is very friendly. The Fried Ice Cream is GREAT! It has become a regular with me!

This is our absolute faveorite Mexican restaurant in Gainesville. We have been dining there ever since they opened. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about being overpriced. The only fault I think they have is introducing "gourmet, ovet the top dishes". Stick to the Mexican cuisine you went there in the... More
