I have to admit I was not the biggest fan of 2 Dog when it first opened years ago. However, as they continue to expand their selection of items, the food has improved and it is now one of my go to spots in Gainesville. I especially love the Sunday Brunch - salmon benedict and creamy grits - SO good.... More

I still miss the old small 2 Dog Cafe on the square, but this upgraded new location was done very well and it remains one of the places to eat in Gainesville. If it is on the menu, rest assured, you will enjoy it! I've never had anything bad there and have eaten there dozens of times. I have also... More

My wife and I have been to this restaurant numerous times over the past few years and I simply needed to say something about our experience. She and I typically come on a date; however, there was an occasion in which we also took our four children. In every case, we've always been greeted kindly, served promptly, and provided with... We went for brunch, but many of the items, they were already out by 12:30. It was good but pricey. The place was inviting, but for the amount of food we received, it was too expensive.

My husband and I had lunch here one Satuday. Not impressed with the location, food, or service. You could say it was one dog short of a happy meal!

I had the pork loin stuffed with sweet potato with marinated green beans. It was ok but didn't blow me away. The pork loin was dry. But then came the peanut butter pie....to die for!! The atmosphere is very quaint, and we got the sense that it was a gathering place mostly for locals.

This is a great luck spot especially if you are a juror at the court house. The service was really good and we did not have to wait a long time for our food which was delicious. My serving was plenty but a couple of the men thought their portion was too small. The crab cakes and jalapeño slaw was... More

I have visited Gainesville Georgia quite often over last 3 months due to wife working at Hospital. Every time I have taken my family here we have been 100% satisfied. They have vegan options for my daughter and awesome cheeseburgers for my son. The grits are great and the muffins are marvelous!! 😬!! I have tried the lunch menu items... More

...especially when its not too crowded or you can get a seat outdoors in the spring, summer, or early fall. Great local restaurant with good choices, fresh ingredients and decent wine list. It can be very noisy though, which is why I like it less crowded. Good value, good food, and good people.
