Don't go for the atmosphere go for the food. Located in the Latino influenced neighborhood you will find a great little restaurant. When you walk in you will see fresh fish on ice(no smell) with a menu on the wall. Pick you pleasure and be prepared to wait your turn for a table. Gumbo is all I can tell you.

We went early on a Saturday evening and waited in line to place our order, then waited for a table. It was worth the wait. The shrimp were perfectly fried. Can't say much for the ambience, but the food is excellent.

I have taken my wife and kids to 49 of the fifty states and have tasted all cuisine. This restaurant is the best for the money and freshness of the food and the ambiance. I have never gotten anything at this place which was not just finger licking good. They steam the seafood or fry it however you want it... More

While visiting my sister in GA over the 4th of July Holiday, my husband said he was in the mood for some really good seafood. My sister suggested Atlanta Seafood, saying it was the best seafood she has every had, so with that we headed across town. It was pretty busy when we arrived but parking was pretty good. You... More

Friends turned us onto to what was a little seafood market! It started with a take out window in the mkt that had to expand I understand, into the next door space to accommodate a few tables and the demand for sit down service!! You are seated first come first serve after you order, house rules,no sending a table scout... More

Seriously the best fish I've ever had. It's not on any waterfront property or in a fancy downtown building, but at $14/plate, and no question the freshest best tasting fish, anyone who says it's too expensive needs to go to Legal Seafood in downtown Atlanta, which is very good, with incredible views of downtown and beautiful furnishings, but no exaggeration,... Excellent food, excellent service, The only place in town to get fresh seafood, mostly frequented by local people since it's hard to find for the tourist. It's off the beaten path in the back side of a strip center on Atlanta highway. Parking places are small and not very many. Many people would not park there at night. They are... More

For several years I have been a faithful patron of this restaurant. If you want eat in Gainesville where the locals go, this should be your first stop! When you walk in the first thing you will notice are the stainless steel coolers full of an array of fresh whole fish. They will cook it just the way you want... More
