Went to this place after a friend told me. At that time, it was just a small area with a few bar chairs and tables. Food was great and really fresh. It's bigger, but still the same great food.

Wanted to take family to a decent, local, seafood restaurant, picked this one based on the reviews. Disappointing mistake. If you are from an area with good seafood you will not care for their food. The menu is affordable, the place is basically self serve and the furnishing are primitive.

I've eaten there many times. Good basic seafood, gumbo and beans and rice. It's not fancy but I wouldn't and haven't hesitated to take out of town guests here for a meal. Usually, a crowd pleaser.

This is probably the best fish in Gainesville but when you can't get a seat to sit down so you can eat, it shows that the owner isn't concerned about the customer. Will not be back until they improve their dining space. Very annoying environment to dine! Parking is not good and location is really bad.

Not a fancy dining room but the fresh seafood prepared well will satisfy your coastal cravings. You'll have to wait for a seat. They drive to the coast to pick up fresh fish daily. Great place.

I had blackened grouper and fried shrimp. Everything was fresh and well prepared and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant very clean. This is a very laid back and casual place- you order at a counter, fix your own drink and find a table. Food was priced well and you can also buy fresh seafood to... More

If you are looking for fresh seafood this is your place. The poboys are the best around full of meat and the bread is amazing.

Really tasty platters, I had the Mahi-Mahi platter and it had plenty of very fresh, white flaky meat with a very light breading. Mine was fried, grilled would be even better. Very clean and it was very busy at 1:15 when I ate lunch there. Fresh fish too take home and cook it yourself as well in the market. I... More

The food here is great, especially the gumbo, grilled fish, and red beans. The atmosphere for dining in is somewhat lacking so we usually get food to go. It is small, cramped in spots, and always crowded. The outdoor dining is right by the parking lot so we don't like that option. We also purchase superb fresh fish to take... More
