Best seafood in the Gainesville area

Blows the other local options way out of the water. Great, fresh, affordable seafood in Gainesville.

went here following a doctors appointment. Not a good location or ambiance; but, food is incredible. Got gumbo to take home and had fried shrimp there. Coming from a person who grew up eating Cajun, this was a great find! Étouffée, red beans and rice, gumbo, fresh seafood...heaven!

Heard about this place from family members in the area who gave it high marks. It is very close to the downtown Gainesville square. We followed their advice and got there just after 11 a.m. for lunch. Good thing we did as the line going out the door developed shortly after that. You basically order and pay at the counter... We are very fortunate to have seafood of this quality in north Georgia. Tonight I enjoyed a codfish dinner. Just great.

If you're within 2 hours of Gainesville, GA, and like seafood, it is essential that you try this restaurant. Absolutely the best seafood in most of the western hemisphere. All fish/seafood is flown in 4-5 times per week from the Gulf of Mexico. All dishes are elegantly simple, and there is a huge array of fish: snapper, grouper, tilapia, mahi-mahi,... More

A friend of mine recently posted On Friday March 27, I was refused service and access to the dining areas of the Atlanta Highway Seafood Market at 227 Atlanta Hwy #900, Gainesville, GA because of the presence of my guide dog, Scout. After many attempts to inform the man identifying himself as the manager of my right to have my... More

Would recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover. Great service, family owned and fresh seafood. We have eaten here many times. Could be in a better location but i guess this helps keep the prices reasonable.
