One of my wife's and my favorite places. She usually orders fish tacos. We both love the seafood stew, plantains, and their slaw. Service is always friendly and attentive. We eat on the deck and look at lake, boats and feel the breeze. Its wonderful.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. Our service was ok and I enjoyed dining outside. We docked the boat and walked right into the restaurant. The fried grouper and shrimp was the best.

We went to Fish Tales on a summer Sunday for a family dinner. We sat outside to enjoy the fresh air and live music. There is a large sand "beach" area for the kids to play in adjacent to the patio. The menu ranges from fish tacos to salads to burgers. We had two blackened grouper sandwiches on Cuban bread.... More

The menu and foord is great here. We had appetizers and they make a great Bloody Mary. Unfortunately, I had to drive there from my marina because my sailboat can't get into the cove there on.

The food is very fresh and good. You have a great view of the lake and it is very peaceful. We had very good service. I do think it is a little pricey for the location.

We've eaten here many times over the years and just went again a few days ago and they had made some changes. We liked the new glass railing/wall and the new sand area but they definitely passed along the cost in their menu prices and reduced portions. We like the grouper here but the size of the pieces we received... More

Locals love this place and they are expanding all over the lake because of it. The fried food is great but if your looking for healthier options they are not as good, the only reason we don't eat there more often. I do love good fried seafood I just don't let myself eat it that often, but when I do... More

We had been on a boat outing with friends from our neighborhood. Called ahead to reserve a table. The table was ready and we sat outside, under cover which was good because we did get a shower. There were 10 of us and they started taking orders pretty quickly. That part was good, but getting the food was kind of... More

We visited Fish Tales for the first time this past Wednesday night. I can tell you we will definitely be back. What a great summer restaurant! My husband and I are always looking for restaurants with outdoor eating. It is located directly on a marina at Lake Lanier. The outside deck is HUGE. There was a guy singing/playing his guitar,...
