The village cafe has been around for some time and just a sample of their food, service, atmosphere will keep them open for years to come. excellent food prepared in a very professional manner and was close to the best I have had.

I attended a birthday party here for around 45 people. We were told in advance that we'd have to order off a set menu. I had no problem with that. I ordered the salmon for $25.95. (The normal menu price was $17.95.) My dinner included a small salad , a lunch portion of salmon, a teaspoon of creamed spinach and... More

The Village Café now on its' third ownership continue to have the same menu the Village is famous for. The meatloaf is one of a kind; the seafood dishes are excellent. A great place to have a casual dinner or a special occasion feast. The Mocha pie is always a must for desert.

Very elegant atmosphere with a great menu. This is nice place to celebrate a special occasion. The Steak au Poive is to die for. This is our go to restaurant when we want attentive service and a delicious meal.

Village Cafe has been a favorite or ours since it first opened many many years ago. After it moved and came under new management, we did not enjoy it as much. However, we have tried it several times in the last few months and have been more than pleased. The food is superb and presented well. Taste and quality is... More

Even though we often eat at this restaurant we always choose it for our Christmas Eve Dinner after the communion candlelight service at our church. Many changes are taking place but we enjoyed our food and the ambience of an intimate quiet dinner.

I've lived in Fayetteville for 17 years and consider this the best restaurant in town. I don't know anyone who works there or owns it so this is unbiased. Go here for a quiet, upscale dining experience. This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends or a romantic dinner because it's quiet. It's not a huge menu but everything... More

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. Server was sweet and attentive. Fried green tomatoes were overly breaded and not seasoned enough, or at all. For my entree, I had filet and salmon maison. Salmon was tender and the sauce was tasty. Filet was tender but again had little if any seasoning. Mashed potatoes were tasteless, creamed spinach... Went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were disappointed that there was no vegetarian main dishes on the menu for my husband. In addition, the waitress didn't offer any workable substitution when we asked about vegetarian choices. I don't know if that's the restaurant's policy or just that waitress' unwillingness to go through the trouble for her customers. The... More

This restaurant is very nice. Villiage Cafe has been a jewel in Fayetteville, however they closed the old one several years ago. They opened this one just a couple of years ago. Food is still good. This would be a great place to take someone on a date.
