Lunch with girls

Was a very nice place. Good menu for lunch, salads were unique and large portions. Desserts that you would sin for!

The Village Cafe is a very pleasant and relaxing restaurant. The service is excellent, the menu is fairly broad, the food is well above average.

I met some dear friends for lunch a week ago - which is a rare time for me to eat at Village. The staff as always was most gracious, helpful with our menu choices and guided us to make a delicious meal. As always the French Onion soup cannot be beat. I also had the salad special which was a... More

This used to be a place for semi-fine dining in the local area. We have been coming here for years and enjoyed the food and service. But now it seems the management has been hiring staff that has little clue on how to serve people that come to "dine" rather than eat. Why? The food remains good but good food... More

We eat out at least one meal a day. Reading the re Jews for this place I had good expectations and pretty much was nit disappointed. My wife had the Diablo Chicken which was excellent with good presentation. I had the Seafood in a cream sauce with fettuccine. At $ 19.95 with limited seafood it was pricey. The restaurant itself... This place was a surprise. Really great! --It is large and very tastefully decorated. It is an upscale atmosphere with a nice (and reasonably priced) wine list. Quiet atmosphere --excellent service and food was fantastic. This is definitely a place that we will be back to!! Great prices also.

Tried this restaurant several times and they always seem to have an issue with service. Management needs to train servers and servers need to arrive at assigned table(s) in a timely fashion. Last visit, there were 3 employees hovering around the host stand and we satbat a table for 10 minutes before one of us returned to host stand to... More

This was the first fine dining restaurant opened in Fayette County. It started in a shopping mall with a real French chef .and was family owned and operated. It was sold and again kept the family owned theme and most of the favorite menu items. It moved to another location and is still a fine dining experience.
