This place was a surprise. Really great! --It is large and very tastefully decorated. It is an upscale atmosphere with a nice (and reasonably priced) wine list. Quiet atmosphere --excellent service and food was fantastic. This is definitely a place that we will be back to!! Great prices also.

Tried this restaurant several times and they always seem to have an issue with service. Management needs to train servers and servers need to arrive at assigned table(s) in a timely fashion. Last visit, there were 3 employees hovering around the host stand and we satbat a table for 10 minutes before one of us returned to host stand to... More

This was the first fine dining restaurant opened in Fayette County. It started in a shopping mall with a real French chef .and was family owned and operated. It was sold and again kept the family owned theme and most of the favorite menu items. It moved to another location and is still a fine dining experience.

We were excited to meet friends at the Village Cafe. The ambiance is charming and the menu appealing. Our meals varied. The California salad with chicken was great. The black bean soup good, the Cuban sandwich okay. Bread pudding for dessert was okay but not worth the calories. A potentially pleasant lunch was ruined by really poor service. The wait... More

The food is very good at Village Café; however, the last time I was there the server wasn't very nice to me and my guest.

Owner was very accommodating and engaged with our two young children. Best black and bleu salad around. Will be going back.

We used to love this place and then they closed and reopened near the Hospital. We went for our anniversary and were disappointed. The ingredients have been cut to cheaper inferior quality. We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and they were made with fake crab that was not noted on the menu. I HATE fake crab. The Cajun Seafood... More

Village Café was in Fayetteville on the north side. It was good food at a slightly above average price but well worth it. They closed and I'm told the concept was sold to someone else and they re opened with much the same menu on the southwest side of town. We tried it twice and it was not as good... More
