You would expect fantastic food from a menu that has a very limited number of dishes (three appetizers and no more than eight main courses). This is not the case. The food was bland, the pasta for sure came out of a box, and the flavors were simple (and not in a good way). US$15 dollars for pasta that you... More

As a family we are not big pasta eaters but after 8 days on San Andres we fancied a change from from the usual fish and rice. I must say the staff and owner here were lovely, very friendly, very attentive and accommodating. The food was good and the service very fast indeed. The location is very good, just a... More

We had lunch here several times during our visit in San Andres. Its so hard to find good restaurants at smaller islands or villages so we were really glad to run into this little lovely place. The pasta was al dente( perfectly cooked). The salsas were also really tasty. They have really good prices. / Lina

We decided to dine here on the evening before our friends were leaving. We hadn't realised that elections the following day would mean no alcohol could be served from 6pm. Despite not being able to drink a nice wine, we had a lovely meal at Majia. We had three different pastas, each with their own beautifully cooked sauce. The pasta... More

Having sampled numerous restaurants on the island it was a nice surprise to find this one. They serve mainly pastas and some other italians dishes. The pasta is simply great. Prices are low. Very good value for nice light lunches or a dinner in a great location.

The restaurant is conveniently located at the beachfront. We went there twice: for lunch and dinner. Both times the pasta was very good, cooked ´al dente´ and the sauce was delicious. Attentive service. Good price for the 'almuerzo executivo.' Nice place!

We arrived to find the restaurant virtually empty (always A danger sign) ordered a simple pasta dish and waited, and waited, and waited and waited. Almost an hour later we were served a fairly bland dish that left us less than impressed. I read the other reviews before choosing this restaurant. Where did all these enthusiastic reviewers eat? Surely not... More

I am very sorry that you find our food "slow and ordinary", but i really dont succeed in believing that you have waited for all that time (above all with the empty restaurant), when our dishes, also in high season, usually served in 8 minutes and with a maximum time of 25 minutes for the express pasta. In every case... More

We had lunch at Majia and they were serving 4 different options of plates with a fixed price of 16,000 COL per person. The food was great and the place is lovely! Highly recommended!

When you've had enough pargo frito and rondon, check out Majia for some delicious Italian food. The restaurant is run by an Italian couple who know a thing or two about Italian food! I had the rigatoni bolognese which was amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful and not too heavy handed. Just writing about it... More
