The seafood is really fresh and the food is excellent. The only bad thing is there is not enough room for dining. Space is very limited but if you can fit into a small booth it's worth going for. They are only open limited hours and days.

This small restaurant is easy to miss, but don't let that fool you. We were there at 4:00 when they open for dinner, and the line was forming to get in. We were able to be seated without a wait, but very shortly there were people waiting to get in. The fresh seafood is delicious. The servings are more than... More

I love to go out in the ocean on my boat and catch fish. Nothing tastes better than the fish you cook the day you caught it yourself. They are only open limited hours and days, and it is a tiny place. Forget atmosphere, but the service is great, and this is as close as I have found to what... More

So many choices, it's hard to decide but everything is good and it's all fresh. We've been twice and most recently had grilled shrimp and fried grouper. The shrimp was some of the best I've ever eaten and the grouper was not greasy--just crispy and delicious. The featured side this trip was steamed red-skinned potatoes--very good. You'll have to look... More

Although I was disappointed (only slightly) with the preparation and presentation, the quality of the seafood is top notch. I think I had envisioned a different sort of place (my fault), but if you're looking for a clean, friendly, fresh and tasty seafood spot, this is it in Ellijay.

The food is so good. We have also bought both meat and fish from the market. Both were excellent. It is so nice to have a place where you can get halibut. :) The atmosphere in the eating area is dated but a small price to pay for good food.

Food is excellent, but space is limited. Could not fit a large crowd. We were in the area to buy fall apples and we were not disappointed

Have eaten at Jolly Roger's several times and with only one exception, it has been great! On our last visit, we ordered a cocktail crab claw appetizer and when we started to eat it, it had a strong smell of ammonia. We brought it to our waitress attention, whom was apologetic and attentive to the problem. Now, the dining room... More

Can't complain about the food at all. They have very limited space so seating isn't great. For me, it's too pricey when compared with other great alternatives in the area.
