We love Jolly Rogers and the food is delish! Service is great! Establishment is very very small and booths are not comfy and it is adjoining a service station! One of those hole in the wall joints that turns out to be great! But the food and service make up for it.

Not FLA or NOLA but good never the less, Hard to find a good seafood place away from the coast. They have their game on with fresh fish every week,

This used to be my favorite place in Ellijay, though a little pricey. The food used to be wonderful, and service was great. However, they started advertising at Valero, and they are a very small establishment to start with. They're not equipped to handle large crowds, as the old, hard booths seat, at most, 4, and there's only about 12.... More

This nondescript, wee little restaurant and seafood market located next to a service station has good seafood. Our seafood was fresh and cooked well, but the sides were ordinary. Still, the seafood was the star of the show and they knew how to cook it. The service was great! The seafood market was loaded with goodies that, if one has... More

We’ve eaten at JR several times each year over the 10 years we’ve lived in Ellijay. Always enjoyed ourselves and so have friends we’ve taken there…until our last lunch. We started with the smoked fish spread that we’ve had before. This version has a nice smoky flavor, but was too salty. Senior citizens are constantly concerned about too much salt.... More

Been going there for years. Fish is as good as my Florida favorites. Always fresh tasting. Just need to arrive before it gets full.

O my goodness, so glad we stopped..... A local suggested this place and as we pulled up to park we thought there is no way this place is good..... Boy were we wrong, some of the best seafood we have ever had, service was great. Very small only a few tables in there, only had to wait about 10 minutes... More

We stopped to eat lunch here after reading the good reviews. She said it would only be a 10 minute wait but turned into 40 minutes. There's only about 7 tables. Everyone was very friendly and the food is delicious!

A hole in the wall restaurant that you probably wouldn't seek out, but well worth it. Everything appeared to be fried. I was with a friend that was local and she suggested the fried shrimp, which I had but I also had the grouper fingers since they were the special. I normally don't order fried foods, but this was so... More

Unassuming location, but once inside you feel the need to put on your shorts and flip flops! A great little seafood restaurant with the freshest fish this side of the gulf!!
