This is a small place with really good cajun cooking - just like you would expect in New Orleans. Very good seafood and really good jambalaya. It is small so you may need to wait a bit during normal dinner hours on the weekend. It is worth the wait.

A very unlikely spot for a genuine Cajun restaurant, but this place is the real deal. We lived in New orleans for ten years and, while many restaurants there were better, there were also many that were a lot worse. The gumbo was as good as it gets and the oyster po-boy was better than 90% of them that I...

My husband and I ate their after seeing a take out menu in the cabin we had rented. The crawfish tails were delicious. I had the catfish and it was yummy. My husband had the jambalaya and it was flavorful. I will definitely go back.
The last time I wrote a review was after a particularly bad experience, we are back in Ellijay for our 1st visit of the year and thought we would give it another chance because we really do like to support local businesses. Big Mistake and a waste of good money! I am wondering if maybe they have had a change...

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Rome. We were looking for a nice place to eat and found it. The service was very good and the food was great. I would recommend the crab cakes and blackened chicken. Awesome.
We found out about this place from a Google search as we drove from Blue Ridge toward home. We arrived just after they opened on a Sunday in February. It was not crowded and we were seated and served right away, our party of six. The service was really good and the food was wonderful. By the time we left...

My husband & I dine here almost every weekend. We could go anywhere but choose to drive 30 mi. from where we live because the food is excellent & the staff friendly.
My trip to Ellijay was very brief but I will never forget it. Being a realtor from Tupelo,MS I do not get to see or travel to places like this very much. The experience of just driving thru the area was enough for me to want to come back soon. But one thing that always seems to sum up any...

Our realtor told us about this restaurant and said the crab cakes were really good. Being from Florida I love seafood and lately crab cakes are my fave! I was apprehensive at first about a cajun place in the mountains but I was surprised! Crab cakes were delicious as well as the sides. My husband had the blackened chicken over...
