Another very good local place....

Had lunch here today for the first time. Liked the feel of the place, enjoyed the staff, and the food was good too. Really liked how they offered a unique special: large bowl of soup and small salad or a large salad and small bowl of soup. Same price. Nice. I had the soup and salad, veggie... read more

My wife and I ate breakfast at the Corner Stone Café in Ellijay, GA on Sunday morning and it was excellent. The place is obviously very popular and was filled. Both our meals were excellent and the service matched. The folks are friendly and the local restaurant, small town atmosphere is unique and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to... More

Walking around the square, we smelled something great! We followed our noses to THE BEST BURGER on a fresh pretzel bun, with amazing fresh tomato, lettuce, and spear pickle. The fries were fresh, hot, crispy and delicious! The tea sweet but not full of gritty sugar...just amazing lunch. We ordered and because we are a small family my little girl... More

This place puts IHOP to shame! Delicious food and friendly staff. I will defiantly go back! I recommend the French toast and bacon.

This small gem of a cafe at 76 North Main Street, Ellijay, Ga. has been a center of breakfast and lunch time activity for years. The food served is far above average for a cafe in the south and it is one of the few that doesn't serve the same heart clogging menu familiar to most "Southern Cooking" cafes. They... More

Very homey. Nothing fancy but nice when you walk in and everyone knows your name. Terry the owner strives to keep a nice menu filled with interesting choices. Prices are extremely reasonable. Place is small and sometimes you're asked to share a table which is great. Feels more like a family than a customer.

Delightful and delicious. Homey atmosphere and great service. We came in on a busy Sunday morning and we were greeted by a lovely young lady who asked if we minded sharing a table . We were hungry so we said "sure!" Had an enjoyable feast and memorable conversations with our new friends. The apple fritters and Mikes Mess were fantastic!

I dine here often. For the regulars thay have a 20% club based upon a $20.00 fee once a year. They start the day with breakfast til 11:00 then lunch til 3:00. Terry, the owner, only has quality food and lots of it. Staff is fast, courteous and efficient.
