Quaint place in Ellijay

If you haven't tried Cantaberry's in downtown Ellijay, you are missing something great. It is one of our favorite places to eat for lunch. They have a great selection of sandwiches, soups and salads. My 2 favorite soups are the Tomato Basil and their signature Chicken Wild Rice soup. Try their... read more

Went there in a recent end of July Sunday. Only took a few minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders. I then walked to a bathroom to wash my hands, but it was closed. Went to the ONLY other restroom and it was closed too. Asked our waitress what was wrong and she said the water was only... More

After looking at real estate in the morning our broker took as for lunch to this little gem in the beautiful historic town of Ellijay. We had soup and sandwiches, which were out of this world. I had the BLT and an incredible tasting Chicken Veggie soup that was mostly chicken...so my husband had to help. The staff was very... More

Cantaberry is a quaint little eatery just off the square in downtown Ellijay. It features cafe style tables and seating, with a couple of wrought iron tables on the entry sidewalk. Very Parisian-like. The food is excellent - meaning every entry on the menu will suit someone's palate. The restaurant fills quickly over the lunch hour, but the turn-over is... More

Oh my gosh! If you like mushrooms and brie the mushroom brie soup was to die for!!! Don't even bother ordering anything else if you order a bowl (and why wouldn't you - it's AMAZING!!!) Friendly, laid back service and reasonably priced. An absolutely must for lunch if you visit Ellijay.

Moved to Ellijay two years ago and frequented this restaurant until recently. Our last two lunches were not good experiences. On a visit in May our order was not right and the service slow. Our very last visit, we were there for over two hours; service was extremely slow; we ordered two sandwiches; they were not that busy; the staff... More

This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat alone or bring a friend. The food is always delicious, and my favorite is the she crab bisque. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is eclectic and I love going there!

While vacationing nearby, we decided to shop in Ellijay and have lunch. Great selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. The tomato basil soup is wonderful! Try the signature tangy tomato dressing on your salad...different and delicious. They also have a decent selection of herbal teas they brew to order. Cute decor, friendly staff. They were pretty busy but we put... More

This is a quaint, cozy restaurant serving delicious soups and sandwiches. My husband and I had the tomato basil soup which is creamy and bursting with flavor. I had the signature chicken salad on a croissant. The chicken salad was some of the best I have ever had! I would order it on a different bread in the future..perhaps the... More
