After the holidays were were tired of the heavy food and stopped on our way to Ellijay for lunch on the way to Blue Ridge. The chicken and rice soup is TO DIE FOR. It's a not too creamy broth with tons of chicken and rice - we should have gotten the bowl. The chicken salad is devine and my... More

We just had lunch there based on the many good reviews and recommendations I'd seen . . . well deserved I might say. We both had the tomato basil soup. Divine! Rich, creamy, full of flavor and not over powered with basil. My Reuben was the best I've had in ages. Corned beef sliced nice and thin. In our neck... More

Looking for a place with something other than gravy covered fried food and we found it! Fresh, homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. Their tomato basil soup was a decadent surprise and you could their roast beef sandwich with pepper jack was made with love. We'll be coming back on our next visit.

The sandwiches & soups are very good. Especially the tomato basil soup & grilled cheese. Make sure you save room for a slice of cake before you leave. The service was great.

Small and quaint, this restaurant is tucked away on River Street. Outside cafe tables for a nice lunch outside in good weather. Usually busy around lunch time ~ and for good reason. Great fresh and homemade food. Chicken and wild rice soup is the best around, along with their large sandwiches. Every time we visit it is a pleasant eating... More

Cantaberry's has the best chicken salad I've ever eaten. They also gave great soups especially chicken and wild rice, and tomato basil. Didn't care for vegetable but everything else their is good.

Small cafe just off the square in Ellijay. Soups are homemade and quite good. We had broccoli cheese. We split the club sandwich, which was very good and huge.

Their soups were very good. I had their chicken salad which was homemade very good. My boyfriend had their trukey bacon and avocado sandwich very good. All their cakes and pies are homemade. We had a slice of peanut butter pie. It was out of this world. People were very friendly. The prices are reasonable.

Recommended by a friend who lives in Ellijay, we tried Cantaberry for lunch a few weeks ago. My husband and I were disappointed. His Reuben was very average, but the worst with was my Cantaberry club sandwich which arrived with one half soaked in pickle juice , from the accompanying pickle in the basket!! After serving our lunches, no one... More

An excellent little cafe with two or three outside tables for good weather affeciandos and classy sandwiches. I recommend their soup de joiurs. They are excellent, tasty, hot, filling, savory and, did I say hearty? If you have a large party, such as a lot of kids, you may find seating less available because the shop is small as are... More
