What a jewel in this small town

Had a day adventure with a friend and we stumbled upon this little restaurant in the quaint town of Elijay, Georgia. Although it is short on atmosphere it more than makes up for it with the food. My friend and I both had the tomato soup special and it was possibly the best tomato soup I have ever... read more

They make the best Chicken Salad served in croissants. They have wonderfully smooth tomato bisque soup. Please save room for their delicious homemade desserts.

Love, love. Love this place. I go there every chance I get. Their soup is the best, but sandwiches and salads hold their own as well.

Nice location for lunch. We enjoy sitting outside and people watching. Their chicken salad is great..packed with fun stuff but not swimming in mayonnaise. Their tomato soup truly sets the bar. My only issue is their catering department (which they claim to have) is totally unresponsive. I, as well as others have attempted to work with them for events in... More

After the holidays were were tired of the heavy food and stopped on our way to Ellijay for lunch on the way to Blue Ridge. The chicken and rice soup is TO DIE FOR. It's a not too creamy broth with tons of chicken and rice - we should have gotten the bowl. The chicken salad is devine and my... More

We just had lunch there based on the many good reviews and recommendations I'd seen . . . well deserved I might say. We both had the tomato basil soup. Divine! Rich, creamy, full of flavor and not over powered with basil. My Reuben was the best I've had in ages. Corned beef sliced nice and thin. In our neck... More

Looking for a place with something other than gravy covered fried food and we found it! Fresh, homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. Their tomato basil soup was a decadent surprise and you could their roast beef sandwich with pepper jack was made with love. We'll be coming back on our next visit.
