Quick bite at 700pm Saturday evening before heading to hotel near airport

Heading out of town today, last night family members took to Trip advisor and gps to find and locate TACO PETE, and stopped in to get a quick evening bite before heading to the hotel and early departure next day. Once you get close it is easily located due to across the street from the Taco... read more

I work in the College Park area and coworkers of mine always talk about how good Taco Pete is. I tried it for lunch the other day for the first time and I was hugely disappointed. I ordered a beef and bean burrito with the works and a large Diet Coke. The burrito was a good size but it was... More

The good and the bad: First of all it's a LOT better than the Taco Bell next door. The tacos are decent - not what you'd get a top Mexican restaurant, but for fast food they are pretty good. The chili dog was a HUGE disappointment - really hated it. The service is WAY too slow. With NO other customers... More

we saw all the great reviews for here and had to check it out while we were in metro atlanta last week. i dunno, maybe it's because we're from out of state, but this was definitely not what we would consider great mexican food. heck, the Taco Bell across the street would have been better..... no kidding!

We tried Taco Pete's due to it's reviews on TripAdvisor and I'm glad we did. Our food was delicious. The lemonade was my daughter's favorite! There is a section with shade and tables as the only seating. It's limited. Locals know how good it is and show up

I've never had the tacos at Taco Pete in East Point but I do know that their burritos are very good. They also have wings, hot dogs, and hamburgers. This is proof that some of the best food come from shacks and hole in the walls.

I like giving small businesses a chance as long as it looks like they are working for it. Its located at the Hwy 29 junctions (weird?) in East Point across the street from a Taco Bell. The parking lot, picnic tables and building are clean and is easy to access. Its at a non-threatening location with a walk up "hut/stand"... More

In my opinion Taco Pete offers the best cheeseburger in the Atlanta airport area, and maybe in the entire Atlanta area. By comparison to some, the burgers are small (much bigger than a slider, however) so you should buy two of them. They are about $3.79 each. I get might all the way without mustard, but you can choose the... More

Ok I read the reviews before going to Taco Pete. Was unsure when we pulled up. Small building but WOW BIG TASTE. You must try this place. My husband had the chili slaw dog. His eyes open wide when he bite into it from the great taste. I had the nachos WOW the authentic taste of Mexican favor was amazing.... More

I'd read about this place being listed as having one of the eight top under-the-radar burgers in the area and so when we were nearby, we decided to give it a try. Although I wasn't quite ready yet for the taco burger, I decided to have the turkey burger combo. The turkey was flavorful and the tomato and lettuce with... More
