I like giving small businesses a chance as long as it looks like they are working for it. Its located at the Hwy 29 junctions (weird?) in East Point across the street from a Taco Bell. The parking lot, picnic tables and building are clean and is easy to access. Its at a non-threatening location with a walk up "hut/stand"... More

In my opinion Taco Pete offers the best cheeseburger in the Atlanta airport area, and maybe in the entire Atlanta area. By comparison to some, the burgers are small (much bigger than a slider, however) so you should buy two of them. They are about $3.79 each. I get might all the way without mustard, but you can choose the... More

Ok I read the reviews before going to Taco Pete. Was unsure when we pulled up. Small building but WOW BIG TASTE. You must try this place. My husband had the chili slaw dog. His eyes open wide when he bite into it from the great taste. I had the nachos WOW the authentic taste of Mexican favor was amazing.... More

I'd read about this place being listed as having one of the eight top under-the-radar burgers in the area and so when we were nearby, we decided to give it a try. Although I wasn't quite ready yet for the taco burger, I decided to have the turkey burger combo. The turkey was flavorful and the tomato and lettuce with... More

I always get 2 shrimp tacos and a diet coke. Best shrimp tacos made with fresh shrimp! Great service and the folks are good too!

This little hole in the shack on the other point in East Point makes me wain for its food even when I'm a thousand miles away. I get back to East Point every few years and cant fathom a trip without Taco Pete's.

I come here regularly. Freshly made, perfectly seasoned tacos and crazy good prices. My favorite are soft shell shrimp tacos, but the ground beef in hard shell, or steak do not fail to please. Salsa is fresh and you can taste the cilantro. Not overloaded with cheese or lettuce either. Seating is outdoor, and often crowded, so call your order... More

You have to try this place. It is a small shack with some outside seating, so go on a sunny day if you want to eat there. As for me, I will go rain or shine because of the food. Tacos with fresh salsa, shells warmed on the grill. Amazing. Taco salads are better than you get at Chain places.... More

When I'm homesick I run to Taco Pete's! Their chicken tacos are fanTAStic...with the tortillas soft or crispy. The sauce they put on the tacos? Heck, I could simply drink it - its that delicious! Don't let the small shack-of-a-place fool you. You'll find big flavors on the menu and if you blink, you may pass the place - it's that... More

Okay, so I've lived in East Point for almost six years, and I've passed by this place a million times. However, it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that I finally decided to try out the food. Yes, it is a hole in the wall - looks like a little shack, no indoor seating, minimal outdoor seating - but... More
