Hidden Jewel in Dunwoody

This is a great place to pick up some lasagna, pasta salad or just pop in for a freshly made sandwich, chianti or other authentic Italian delight. The bread is baked fresh and the feel is of NY if not Italy itself. Also try the cannoli! Highly recommend you check it out!

Fantastic lunch spot and takeout for home style Italian food. Don't be fooled by the suburban strip mall location. Walk in and you feel like you are in New York!

This was our first time here. Ordered two slices of Pizza and a tea. The pizza was ok. Why? Very little sauce and only 2 types offered; veggie and cheese. The pizza was pre-made and reheated for me. I got the veggie, but not much was put on for toppings. I will say I want to try some of the... More

We had lunch with friends and each had great food. The meatball and sausage subs are super and the pasta salads were excellent. We also bought cheeses and wine for a trip to the mountains. They have high quality goods. The prices are not cheap but well worth it!

This review is only about a sandwich. Muffaletta. That's how it is usually spelled in sandwich places or restaurants around the country. Regardless of how it is spelled, in New Orleans, the home of that wonderful delight, it is pronounced " Muffalottah". I was amazed to discover this in Dunwoody. It is absolutley a great sandwich. Better than the one... More

A great bun makes a great sandwich. Why anyone would go to Jersey Mikes just down the plaza is beyond me. Their pizza is the best kept secret in Dunwoody. By the slice or order a whole one for pickup. The cannoli are also a favorite in our house. If you haven't been, you need to go. If you didn't... More

I like the store for being able to buy imported products from Italy. Bigger selection than supermarkets. But the food and sandwiches still haven't overwhelmed me. I've gotten the mozzarella and tomato sandwich several times, but they're very chintzy on the stuff inside. There's more bread than anything else, which can be dry as they don't put on much olive... Off the beaten path in suburban Atlanta (Dunwoody) E. 48th Street Market is well worth seeking out. It's a family owned business carrying Italian groceries and serving up fresh pastas, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. You're family as soon as you walk through the door. It's small and always crowded, but that adds to the charm. It's one of those places... More

I love this place. Everyone here is fantastic and the food and service is great. Sam's hero is my favorite sandwich with a side of olives!
